Seems like a reasonable law.

Don’t believe the hype. Nobody striking here. This is a PR move.
Anybody that buys the first year of production of a new model Euro car is a big fool. Mercedes, BMW, Alfa, etc. all have weird electrical problems. I guess you can add software problems to the list.
Every morning when I was driving to high school, I shifted a manual transmission Mustang GT, smoked a Camel and drank a Coke in a can all at the sames time. If I was using my mobile phone it would have sent me over the limit of activities that can be done at the same time.
I own an 07 Sequoia Ltd 4x4 with every option. I bought it with 101k on it 8 years ago. This was the last year of the smaller less bulbous body style. I have put an additional 106k on it and have had to do no repairs only maintenance. I would highly recommend this car. Oh, completely stock and people are now…
If they put 3 rows in this generic suv, the passengers will have the same experience as riding in the back of an economy brand airplane.
My son’s 2011 BMW 328i has a German VIN but on the window sticker it has “assembled in South Africa” on it. Must be the same story but a different country involved. Long route to Atlanta Georgia. Germany to South Africa then to the USA.
With the recent quality problems on the first year production of the new (JL) Wrangler, should we buy one of these the first year or wait a few years?
As a libertarian, I always believed that car insurance should be optional. Those that are reasonably wealthy would buy it, to cover themselves, and the poor would not. If your net worth is less than a few thousand dollars who is going to sue you for a wreck?
Not too much
After reading the replies to this article, I just remembered why I would never buy a new BMW.
Don’t like the results, get rid of the test. Sounds reasonable.
You don’t want to own this after the warranty expires. Mark my words.
Healthy? I don’t think so.
Corporations dont’t pay taxes. Their shareholders, employees and customers do. There fixed it for you.
I can’t count the number of cars I have been dissatisfied with after a test drive. How are you going to be able to decide on a purchase on the 2nd most expensive item most people buy without driving it first?
I wonder what kind of condition the vehicle is in. It has been sitting outside for about 6 years. These local governments should be responsible for returning the cars in the same condition they were in when seized.
Unless you are a disciple of Dave Ramsey you should never use a debit card for anything, unless you are using it as an ATM card. If a fraud is perpetrated on your account it can take weeks to straighten it out. In the meantime you have no access to the money that was stolen. A credit card problem can be straightened…
The first shop that unionizes will be replaced by 3rd world games designers the next day.
As long as they use that awful CVT transmission, Subaru will not get any of my hard earned money.
