I may or may not have watched cell mates obtain and use crystal meth, which may or may not have been brought inside from a work crew, at the anonymous (misdemeanor only) city jail in Nevada where I just did a 57-day stint from April 4th to May 30th of this year.

Jail is not, has never been, and will never be “the best place” for drug addicts. It’s an awesome place to get more drugs and/or learn how to be a better criminal, though.
