Tank tops have traditionally been worn with dress shirts and suits. The pattern, while not ideal, has been acceptable in business/business casual settings. We should throw some car talk in here because this is getting a little strange. How about that new 'Vette?

Never was a fan of tank tops. Also a tank top doesn't really serve the same purpose as a undershirt.

I think a plain white tank top is always correct under a shirt.

I can honestly say I've never seen a pattern under a dress shirt that didn't look tacky. I know what you are saying, but the above is completely the wrong way to do it. I almost could picture that t-shirt having TMNT on it haha.
