Need a source because he claims to owe $100K in student loans as of 2017. OpenSecrets has him with negative net worth as of 2015. Center for Public Integrity also has him with a negative net worth.
I know I can look this up (and I did), but is he rich? He talks A LOT about being the first college graduate in his family.
I don’t like my cable company, but calling them to fight their shitty overpriced service makes me want to die.
The funny part was the pine cone was sitting right there ten feet away when he took his next shot. I hope someone ran in there, grabbed it, and sells it for $10,000 to some idiot with too much money to spend.
My favorite part of my second year of business school was having Fridays off, taking a cooler of beer to my local municipal course that had unlimited play on weekdays, and playing 54-90 holes with a cart all by myself for like $15.
I loved everything about this. Kanter is probably one of the top five offensive big men in the game (might be underselling), an absolute force on the offensive glass, and because he struggles on pick-and-roll and doesn’t block shots, he’s unplayable?
If you don’t like Uncle Joe, you’re going to have to beat him in the primaries. If he runs and gets out-debated, out-raised, and out-issued, he goes away. If he doesn’t run, he lingers forever (kind of like 2016).
(In general, not the author) Stop promoting personalities over ideas. Ideas don’t cheat people, people do.
It’s a bunch of people that accept well under their market value for job stability and, fingers crossed, a retirement plan that means they don’t have to work until they’re 110. They probably went to college (booga-booga!) and have years and decades of experience in their specific niche. Most of us are super boring.
So, honest question. I watch baseball occasionally, but never a full game until September (or at a minor league game). I was a TBS Braves kid from the 80's, for reference. I guess, technically, I like Atlanta, but nothing like the early nineties teams. I had kids and that ruined watching nightly or following all year.
He’s literally pursuing his Ph.D.! So, maybe we should’ve waited a year or two.
I disagree that Bagley is “clearly” better than Bjelica. Bagley’s a decade younger and has better potential, but the NBA is littered with mediocre first-round picks that never improve. Bjelica was a better team player for what the Kings needed. Hield and Fox are getting the action, they need a guy who can hit open shot…
I just feel like I could turn Storm Duck into Thunder Goose or Lightning Vulture and it’s the same. I can’t improve on Truman Peyote.
See, I gave this to my high school seniors. None of them knew who Truman Capote was and only a few knew about peyote.
The problem is the thinking that it HAS to have an ROI. It’s a public project meant for the public. All it has to do is have a better ROI than doing it privately, even if that means it’s negative.
I’m having a really hard time with Storm Duck over Truman Peyote. Peyote was one of my favorites. I blame the youth.
If the prevailing opinion of Warriors fans is that they’d rather pay Thompson the max than Durant, I will indeed enjoy watching next year.
Also, no dumbass would pay more than $10 for a McDonald’s value meal, right?
I love food, but as I’ve entered my forties, I find a don’t have an appetite. If I eat a big meal, I’m going to sleep within the hour, so most work days, I snack small all day, then have something significant late. Essentially, one meal. When I go out to eat, there’s always way more food than I could ever consume in…
