Part of this is due to the fact that trophy data is created for all accounts attached to a PS4 when a game is installed; so if you have multiple users they all receive trophy data regardless of whether or not they play the game.

I used to live about 30 miles away from the closest place that sold video games when I was a kid, this left me with a pretty decent chunk of time to unwrap games and read through their manuals from cover to cover, sometimes twice, and I can tell you right now ET still sucked.
The problem with making it guaranteed is there is no guarantee that someone else wants to do what you want to do; the complaint would then change from “I a not getting the matches I want” to “I’ve been sitting in queue for 30 minutes and can’t play.”
I’ve said it before, and I will likely say it again:
Misguided maybe, but it doesn’t change the fact that Starfield and ESVI will both be bug riddled glitch filled messes because Bethesda is really good at creating interactive sandboxes and absolutely horrible at making video games that actually work properly.
I’ve always kind of hated Mr Mime, but I’ll be damned if that trailer didn’t make me a fan. Pantamiming “shove it” to Pikachu is truly brilliant.
For all intents and purposes, the beta is the final game... Anyone who thinks Bethesda, a company known for creating buggy games and taking months if not years to fix them, can implement a better fix in the 8 days leading up to launch must be a fool.
My biggest question is whether or not they will let user names begin with a number. Half the reason why my user name on both XBL and PSN is so convoluted is the fact that neither service allows you to use a number as the first character...
5G is still at least 2 years away from being developed into a commercial level product and likely 3-5 years before it is actually available for consumers; it took roughly 5 years for 4G LTE to move from commercial to consumer, and then another 2 years before it became standard for consumer level products.
You do understand that the average internet speed in America is 25.86 Mbs right? America is currently rated 20th place in world wide internet infrastructure, despite being considering one of the worlds leading technology consumers.
Regardless of whether or not Microsoft has the technology to make this happen the general infrastructure isn’t even close to making it happen. There are several parts of America that don’t even have access to high speed internet, or do but have to pay an absurd amount of money for it.
If you’ve played previous MH titles you’ll find that online play is exactly like it used to be; you can play locally via adhoc or online. In both cases you can either create your own room for friends or for random people to join or search for rooms that others have posted. There is text chat, but from what I…
Mario Party 8 sold nearly 9 million units... Which is coincidently when Nintendo introduced motion controls, a coincidence that has cemented the idea that motion controls are what gamers want despite the last two Mario Party titles to use them selling abysmally...
While I will agree that the Switch is a mediocre console; I don’t agree with your sentiments towards it as a portable. After some 200 hours of MHGU, in conjunction with thousands of hours of playing MH on the PSP, Vita, and 3DS I can say without a doubt that the Switch is one of the best portable gaming systems I’ve…
You are forgetting that there will be an online multiplayer mini-game based mode in Super Mario Party; so there will still be a reason to play it while you are alone as long as others are online elsewhere.
I don’t understand why the Pro Controllers can’t be used, they have the same rumble and gyro features of the Joycons...
Skyward Sword would work fine with traditional controls by simply making the right stick control your sword movements while z-targeting. The only thing that would be difficult is the puzzle doors, but honestly they could simply have them turn in rotate increments via button input (L/R control horizontal rotation while…
Well, to be fair the Switch has basically zero online functionality now too...
I feel like the point of this isn’t so much to allow people to add more games to the service as much as it is about proving the point that Nintendo didn’t just drop the ball with their new service they dug the largest hole they possibly could and threw it in full force.
What?! Are you telling me that Nintendo’s haphazardly slapped together emulator that was hastily added to it’s half-assed online service to try and justify charging for online play after a year of getting it for free is somehow faulty and easily exploited? That can’t possibly be right, it’s almost as if the execs at…
