Could be the fact that Epic has nearly 2 decades worth of experience with competitive multiplayer games while PUBG is essentially Bluehole’s first attempt.

I assume part of the reason why this demo looks boring is the shear fact that it seems as though the difficulty has been scaled down to the lowest possible level; everything looks unbelievably boring when you watch someone face-roll content without any threat of death.
Well, they used to make great single player RPG experiences; their last 4 games have been less than average time-sink slogs through the same repetitive content for hours on end in new locations. Mass Effect 2 was their last truly great game in my opinion; since then they’ve lost all sense of story pacing and their…
I wish developers would move away from pre-canned low difficulty scaled demonstrations; sure you get to see how the game looks and lets the devs showcase specific mechanics, but it doesn’t really give you a sense of how playing the game will actually feel.
The Pokemon movies have seen a pretty sharp decline in profits over the years; I am pretty sure this is a big part of why TPC started linking the movies to event distributions.
The face sculpt looks great, but it’s hard not to get over how bulky the fabric of his clothing is...
“It would be like naming Bastion ‘Tank,’”
I will play devils advocate for a moment...
Last Jedi is a wonderful example of how wanting a particular thing and getting something completely different can lead to people hating it; it’s sort of like when you go to drink from a coffee mug to find out there is soda in it, you might like soda but because you are expecting coffee you are utterly disgusted by it.
So... a non-portable Chromebook?
It’s no secret that the tech giant companies like Google, MS, Sony, and all of the major publishers all want streaming to happen so badly because it takes away the concept of ownership and creates a constant inflow of cash.
As someone who casually plays Overwatch every once in a while I feel like this is a new way to push me away from the game. On one hand it’s great for consistent players who play a lot and play often; on the other hand it’s going to force new players and people who don’t play often into playing with toxic trolls who…
SF2’s boss names were changed to avoid a possible lawsuit; it’s a completely different situation.
It’s very doubtful that it will hurt Sony at all; they’ve dominated 3 out of the last 4 console generations, and the one generation they “lost” they only trailed MS by 0.5% in unit sales... The only way Sony messes up next generation is if they some how lose their stable of 1st party developers or they drop a system…
Oddly enough MS was just as bullheaded last generation; there were multiple accounts of MS stating that they were against cross-play on the Xbox 360 because they couldn’t guarantee the quality of gameplay experience through Live with players on other networks.
Not if it has games worth playing... I feel like as a community gamers like to think that they will “vote with their wallet” or boycott specific companies because of their practices; but let’s be honest, we won’t. Next generation will be a lot like every other generation in which success will be based on console price…
Ultimately I find the problem with open world games today is not so much that they are too big or that they are too long; it is simply that they are too repetitive.
I think you accidentally said Sony when you meant to say Microsoft; the only PS4 exclusive that didn’t launch with a PC version with console exclusivity to get a PC port at a later date has been Nioh, and that was a third party title. There hasn’t been a single first party PS4 exclusive to release on anything but the…
Since when are Microsoft and Nintendo actually rivals though? Nintendo has expressed in the past that they absolutely don’t care what MS or Sony are doing and MS has zero competition from Nintendo since multi-platform games typically don’t even make it to the Switch.
It’s amazing that the EU gets to make decisions for the entire world now...
