Honest question for anyone who has played Persona Q: is it worth playing? I was originally incredibly excited about it, I liked the chibi designs and have always enjoyed Persona games; but then I found out that the core gameplay was dungeon mapping similar to Etrian Odyssey, which I strongly disliked... So I guess my…
Why on earth would Nintendo include an ethernet port when they still have a hard time understanding the internet in general. I mean this is coming from the same company that is forcing us to use a cell phone app for voice chat; which needs to be open constantly and draining your battery, requires you to be within 20…
My online experience and the ups and downs in latency when playing ARMS been the main reason why I haven’t picked up Splatoon 2 yet. I really can’t force myself to pay an additional $30 for an adaptor that should have been built directly into the dock in the first place, and I really have no interest in dealing with a…
I feel like I can’t help but cringe every time a developer says they are intent on creating a more accessible fighting game, mainly because it doesn’t really exist and more than likely never will. You can simplify the controls as much as you want, you can make big flashy moves easier to perform to make players feel…
It’s a “damned if they do damned if they don’t” scenario... If they kept the blurred and subdued texture style the original had gamers would complain that it’s not high-def enough and would be pulling textures and crying about how muddy they look.
Only in FoBs? That sucks, they were easily my least favorite part of the game; it’s a damn shame you can’t play as him in missions.
There is always one...
I don’t know how often it happens these days, but games that used to use loading animations (like a spinning logo in the corner or a loading bar) needed to finish those animations before moving forward to the next area regardless of whether or not the information had been loaded; well designed games would speed the…
During year 1 I came up with a simple idea for how to solve Destiny’s PvP vs PvE problem: Introduce a perk called Crucible Limiter to gear. This perk would be used to employee nerfs that would be able to balance PvP by having certain weapon changes effective in Crucible buy not in other activities.
Being paid to wear clothing that someone else made is not cosplay, it’s modeling.
I feel like I must be one of the luckiest people, no pre-order, no standing in lines, and I still got one launch weekend. It really sucks that everyone else couldn’t be as lucky though.
Forgive me if this sounds stupid since I never really played the first Splatoon, but wouldn’t voice chat in Ranked mode be a necessity? I feel like if I am going to receive a ranking in a game I want to be able to talk to the other people I am playing with to strategize...
“I broke all of the weapons I’d collected and couldn’t even kill the monster I was fighting.”
I want to watch all those videos, but I can hardly imagine them to be as entertaining as your summaries... Good show, old chap.
I was thinking this as well, although FMA takes place in a fictional country in an alternate reality it is hard to not see that it’s heavily inspired by European settings; which brings up the question of why if an American film casts an American actor in a forgiegn part there is an instant uproar while if other…
This was a great read, but I will point out that Lawful Good is not the worst alignment by far; in fact when you insert a conflict of purpose they can become incredibly complex characters that face both internal and external struggle. This can be seen quite often with two of the most famous Lawful Good comic…
I played the alpha test last week and I wasn’t really into it, the combination of high movement speed and bunny hopping turning droids into robo-ninjas is really at odds with it being Star Wars. It’s amazing how they nail the look and sound of the franchise but fail entirely at capturing its feeling...
People tend to think that food industry work is easy, they look at their cheap hamburger and think “this only took a minute to throw together, they’ve got it easy” what they tend to forget is that on a busy day that person might need to make hundreds of those burgers; it adds up quick, and any disturbance to the…
Yeah... I don’t think people realize that registers have segmented compartments that make it far easier to make change than digging blindly through a bag of nickels for their one penny.
