From what Heather says and from what we saw in the trailer it still looks like zones will play a big part, you can still retreat to other zones to make use of their environments and monsters can still retreat to their own lairs; the big change will be that it’s all seamless which should make hunts feel more involved

I actually like the idea of being able to lure monsters, but that’s probably because I remember spending way too much time trying to get monsters into a position to mount them in MH4 and hated every moment of it; I would rather a tool that lets me manipulate the AI a little than have to sit around hoping the AI

What do you want? Do you just want them to keep making the same exact game with a handful of new monsters and color variations every year?

Either you are an amazing troll or unfathomably ignorant; in either case congrats to you, it takes a rare kind of person to turn stupidity into an art form.

Have you been living in a hole? Monster Hunter Generations, which is the sequel to Mh4U came out last year...

You do realize I said last two generations of MH, MH3U was three generations back... It is amazing how people can’t read or count these days and still feel like arguing anyways.

Did I ever say anything about the original games? No. I said mounting in the old games was terrible, but if you consider a game that was released 2-3 years ago to be new all the power to you; but I think any game that has had a sequel and is getting another sequel within a year is old.

I don’t know where you’ve been but mounting has been around for the last two generations of MH.

MHG already made mounting trivial by giving every weapon an aerial attack type; if anything this seems like a nice progression from that since having the hook won’t lock you into a specific play type, it will mean there’s more tactical variety.

People are disappointed because a lot of us were hoping to see TLOU2, Death Stranding, whatever Sucker Punch is working on, and either Bloodborne 2 or some other collaboration with FromSoft.

This years E3 is making me wonder if the convention should become biennial. Games take far longer to develop than they used to and publishers seem to be struggling to continuously show new content and games at these shows; not to mention that many publishers are running their own events for big announcements and

Oddly enough I feel like the GUI would be infinitely better on the PC version since it’s all controlled via cursor already; at the very least it can’t be worse than it is with a controller...

The ban hammer will be strong... Bungie has a habit of being fairly strict and doling out bans like no ones business.

Everything I’ve seen looks more like an expansion than a new game; I am pretty sure the only reason it is a new game is because a) Bungie wants to retool balance and throw out all their mistakes, and b) they know we are sick of running the same missions, strikes, and raids so having them take up space makes no sense,

I feel like E3 is in decline; with major publishers holding their own big scale conferences there’s no pressure to go big at these shows any more; I mean if Sony showed off everything they have planned for 2018 at E3 what would they bring to PSX in December?

I get the feeling Sony is holding back so they can go big at PSX in December. It’s a shame I was hoping to see something new from Sucker Punch, another collaboration with From Software, and some TLOU2 news...

Seriously this is what I’ve been thinking as well; it’s been three years since Last Light came out, I feel like they are working on something massive.

Easily the best thing shown during day 1! It looks so smooth and the variety of attacks and combos makes it seem pretty fleshed out as well. Not to mention the attention to detail; I love that Buu using a super to take down Vegeta wasn’t just flashy it also changed the whole levels design, which is brilliant.

As someone who can’t stand power bricks from a entertainment center set up perspective I can’t disagree more... I’d rather have a console with a larger foot print with an integrated psu that is fan cooled than a brick I need to find a place for that will heat up like no one’s business.

Ugh... Things are not looking good for Below... First it got indefinitely delayed and now it didn’t even get a mention at E3; I was hoping there would at least be some sort of inkling that things are on the right track and it will be coming soon...
