I found leverage, hacking, repair, and the mod that allows you to break down weapons into spare parts to be really useful early on.

I grabbed the turret from the downstairs lobby and distracted it while the turret took cheap shots... It was fun, now I have too many alien neuromods and turrets dont like to play with me any more.

PC version runs stunningly well, I’m getting solid 60fps at 4K at max settings with my new 1080ti; no input lag, very little slow downs, and a really smooth experience so far. I was worried because some people mentioned having problems with Dishonored 2 at launch with higher end cards at higher resolutions, but I’m

Exploration is fantastic, combat is a bit of a pain until you get some decent upgrades and weapons (similar to Bioshock in that regard,) and the zero g segments are absolutely brilliant. I can’t stress how much I love any moment where you are able to get outside of Talos to explore or are in the gravity free

Mimics seem to be intentionally difficult to hit with the wrench (or pistol for that matter) to encourage you to make use of the gloogun to immobilize them, and get you into the habbit of shooting them with the pistol while transformed and unaware (neuromods bump it up to one shot kills on surprise attacks to mimics

From what I can tell after around 8 hours in looks like you can’t get blocked out of any areas, which is good because there’s a lot of areas that require backtracking and high level mods to access.

Normally I would agree with you, but trying to make your way through the zero g areas can be a massive pain without indicators, I find the G.U.T.S area to be especially disorienting. Getting around the interiors without it is pretty easy though.

Go back and play the first Bioshock, it’s as clunky if not worse. People have some serious nostalgia glasses when it comes right down to it, Bioshock was a great game for its concept and mechanics but it’s controls feel like trash these days.

It’s pretty much a 50% markup... You could easily comparison shop for the components and a cheap case for between $1500-2000 if not less.

In many ways I understand Google’s choices, keeping advertisers happy keeps them investing in advertisements; on the other hand viewers don’t care about advertisements, they care about content and if content creators can no longer produce the content that viewers want they will stop viewing.

I’ve always said that Mario Kart is one part skill two parts luck, and moments like this remind me that even though Modnation Racers was no where near as good a game it’s shield/boost trade off mechanic was downright genius.

If nothing else this is a pretty good example of how quickly technology is moving, I remember a couple years ago when it was a great feat to mod a resolution switch into Crisis 3 so users could bump up to 8k at 2-3fps to take screenshots, now we are seeing 8k at stable playable rates.

It’s amazing that if you create something new or interesting with the tools at hand that people enjoy in a game like LittleBigPlanet you get a shout out from the developers and a listing in the featured creations section, do the same in a Mario Maker and you get banned...

I will admit it has my attention, but if there is anything I’ve learned in the last few years it’s very easy for the term “Soul-like” to end up being fairly hit and miss (with an emphasis on miss) while Nioh turned out to be a great success by taking the Dark Souls formula and making it their own games like Lords of

I just hope this brings closure to the series... The fact that DS2 was essentially a side story taking place at the same time as DS1 and never managed to do anything about the first game’s cliffhanger ending really irked me.

I understand why Nintendo is so agressive with C&Ds; what I don’t think they understand is that fans making fan games and releasing them for free as homage to their favorite franchises don’t hurt those franchise while agressive take downs actually create competition. Fan games are often a wellspring of new, unique,

Why search for bugs when your community will fix your game for you... I love Bethesda games, but let’s be honest here a lot of that love comes from there being a massively talented community of modders who do wonders with the games and less to do with Bethesda making quality products...

Companies discontinue production of hardware because of declines in sales, not because of aging hardware; had that been the case the Xbox 360 would have been discontinued 3-5 years before it was.

My point is simply that people ranted and raved that as soon as the Switch was released that Nintendo would cease support of the DS and developers would focus all the efforts on the Switch; truth is the DS line has at least another year in it’s life cycle, maybe longer, and the Switch has at least a year before it

Well, possibly because Nintendo is still seeing fantastic sales for the 3DS and software so discontinuing the production of them is foolish while revising the hardware to a cheaper to produce model with a lower price point allows them to lower their overheard while keeping momentum.
