Well, considering he left joycon has several issues with disconnecting and latency it would appear that you might be right about that.

This illustrates exactly why Nintendo should leave the hardware industry and focus on becoming a third party developer; when the only thing you do well is develop games perhaps that’s the only thing you should do.

Which is hilarious when considering their recent history of having two of their games leak to pirates in fully playable states several days before release...

Except it’s hurt them twice in recent history. Low supply, toofew launch games, and high cost caused the 3DS to nearly fail at launch and was only saved by an aggressive price cut 6 months after release and heavy first party support; the Wii U would go on to make the same mistakes but eventually did outright fail due

The good: It’s been released and is actually a real thing that exists.

It all depends on the kind of game; for example speed running a game with character progression and enemies with exponential health and damage increases can be far more difficult than speed running a game with no character progression and enemies that are balanced in difficulty throughout.

I’ve had some fun with the photo mode, but I have to say that I don’t like how restrictive it is; the number of instances where it doesn’t let you control the camera at all or limits your ability to pan out is annoying...

Stores are supposed to have limited non-preorder stock on launch day; I recommend going to your local Gamestop, Target, or Best Buy and asking how many they expect to receive and then trying to camp out if you are looking to get one at launch. If not it will probably be a couple weeks before they are restocked into

If you have a PS4, PC, and a Switch you can play just about everything. No one needs an XB1 though...

The problem is that people want new games with their new console; I don’t want to buy a Switch to play games that I already own on another platform I want to buy a Switch for new experiences. With that said anyone who hasn’t played these ports will be happy to have a chance to, but I won’t bother buying them again

Nope, they are immortal. They don’t even respond to your attacks.

Here’s the thing, if you don’t want to you won’t have to but it will make things harder; from what I can tell the only quests requiring you to kill animals are optional side quests, and if you are willing to do some serious inventory and resource management you can probably live without the pouch upgrades. Also, I

I was actually surprised about just how much like FCP it is, I didn’t really expect it from everything I saw during previews; but the comparisons are really striking, but at the same time the combat with machines makes it feel entirely different from FCP or anything else for that matter. Even surface level comparisons

It’s not op, it’s just second tier equipment that you get a little early; most of it can be bought pretty early in the game when you have resources and chances are you will replace it with higher tier gear within a few hours.

I can see what you are saying, and I understand it completely; but if you ignore it’s typical modern open world trappings and focus on how it plays you’ll realize just how different Horizon is. It’s easy to see Aloy clearing out a bandit camp and think that it’s just a 3rd person version of Far Cry Primal; the instant

There are, but to be honest it’s not super grindy; you can kill 10-20 or so of each animal type and with a little luck get the resources necessary to craft all your equipment. You won’t be hunting down hundreds of animals to pass in pelts as quest items or anything like that, it’s also not mandatory within reason you

It’s a bit more Uncharted and a bit less Assassins Creed though, it takes a lot of ques from U4 to be exact with it’s stealth system feeling like it was ripped straight from it. The resemblance to Far Cry: Primal is uncanny though; between the bandit camp side missions, to the hunting, to the on the spot crafting, to

I was bored within 15 minutes... it’s a huge and quite beautiful world; but it’s so desolate, aside from collectibles and missions there’s just big stretches of nothing but pretty scenery.

Or more aptly that Lego is a company that sells building bricks not lego(s).

I love these designs but I can’t help feeling like the six small actuators supporting the “head” of the larger mech would never be able to hold up under its weight unless it is far lighter than it looks... it’s one of those things that looks cool from an artistic standpoint but doesn’t seem feasible from a mechanical
