Except for when it hands you a “Master of Unlocking” trophy/achievement...
The scene where Jack stalks you is pretty short; and he only follows you through one small section of the house and won’t leave that area; as for Marguerite you can actually do enough damage to force her to leave until you trigger her next encounter, there’s actually an achievement for doing it.
Not noted here: if you play the game on normal or easy the shear volume of health items and ammo turns the second half of the game into little more than a genre shooter... All of the scariness of the first couple hours fades away when you realize the enemy AI is incredibly stupid and there’s always more than enough…
Hey look, yet another reason why trademark laws are absolute bs... It’s always nice to see laws that were made to protect content creators used to hurt them instead.
I feel like he hook pulling you through walls was a problem, but I feel like it should be able to pull you around corners... The fact that it breaks when you lose line of sight makes absolutely no sense, it’s a hook attatched to a flexible chain/rope, if it catches on to someone while you can see them it should still…
I would have liked that fight had it been more than hold block until he attacks and then attack him and repeat half a dozen times; it took a cool moment and drew it out without fleshing it out and then never touched upon it again.
So I assume you are one of those people that thinks jump scares are the only form of horror...
Normally I don’t mind day 1 DLC announcements and with Capcom’s history of holding back content to resell as a premium I can’t say I’m surprised but I am still disappointed... I remember a time when stuff like this could be unlocked by completing a game, not buying it an added cost.
Oddly enough game developers and fans of those games are Twitch’s bottom line; without developers to make games, streamers to play them, and fans to watch Twitch wouldn’t be a thing...
Astroneer is a game with a lot of potential, and its core mechanics are both simple and complex enough that given the right support the game could see a decent amount of longevity, but with that said the current experience is incredibly shallow...
This looks great, but I am sick of games throwing around the term “souls-like” just because there’s a dodge roll and pattern based bosses... Souls combat is about that special blend of stamina management and timing, dodge rolls are just one small chunk of that.
I’ve always wanted to play Dark Souls this way, because of how pretty it looks; then I remember that’s Blight Town and I already hate BT enough when I can see the poison...
It’s nearly impossible to keep a retail release secret this close to release; there are public records for ratings board reviews, trademarks, and copyrights that people tend to keep a very close eye on in search of any big company name popping up relating to something.
If they had any other games that would be ready for launch we’d know; with the release in less than two months all launch games would need to be going through certification right now at the latest so they can go gold and enter production within a month of release to meet demands... I can almost guarantee what they…
I feel like this isn’t really all that news worthy, you’d have to be a fool to not know that Switch will eventually get a Smash Bros game; but in all likelihood unless it’s a Wii U port it probably won’t be out before 2019, and if it is a WiiU port it won’t be out before 2018 since Nintendo outlined all their first…
The arbitrary internet definition of console generations that has no official classification or governing body to validate it is not a fact, a fact is something that can be proven undisputedly; and with the power of retrospect we can easily dispute whether or not the release of the Wii U should have been considered…
I am sorry but no.
I don’t expect it. Capcom has become a very lazy company, a company that for years has heavily relied on reusing the same assets for as long as they can since the 90s. The only way they will stop producing MH for the 3ds is if they are forced to, because like I said it is much more cost effective to produce more games…
Now compare it with the PS3 and Xbox 360 since it is part of that generation... PS4 and Xb1 still have another 3-4 more years left in their life cycles.
Yeah you are right, I mean it’s not as if Nintendo had the least number of exclusive releases last generation...
