I disagree, when done well realistic damage models for games can still be challenging and interesting without having to resort to turning enemies into bullet sponges.

Agreed... They seriously over did the RPG elements of the shooting mechanics, and they did so in a way that doesn’t feel fulfilling or fun at all; at least games like Destiny and Borderlands go out of their way to remind you how insane and unreal their worlds are so that you can suspend disbelief when you drop a

The problem is that developers do not develop games for small population of enthusiasts who will actually buy the Rift at this price-point; from a financial standpoint it makes absolutely no sense to put their resources into a peripheral that will have a very niche market when they could put those resources into

Agreed.

Remember the good old days before Occulus was bought by Microsoft and their sole purpose was an affordable VR experience for everyone? You’d think that after MS royally f_cked up with the XB1 price point and had to spend the last two years treading water while struggling to catch up they wouldn’t make the same mistake

I honestly get the feeling it was a cut scene; we already know that Leia, and presumably C3PO as well since he was with her, originally had a bigger role in the film. Like others have said it will probably end up being a tie-in with the comic series; probably along with a couple of the other seemingly unexplained

Had this happen to me when I was trying to fill out my living pokedex after the bank opened up; I bought a couple of the older DS titles I hadn’t had any more and found out I was pretty much screwed because they were bootlegged.

People are upset because the definition of “modern FPS” content is half the content it was only 2 years ago... Titanfall started a trend of selling the multiplayer only component of a game for full retail price while ditching the single player, in doing this they found a way to sell us half the content for same price

This still doesn’t save SRL from being one of the worst racing designs I’ve ever played in a game; who ever thought that making you flip over and explode the second someone taps you was a great idea should really consider ending their career as a developer...

Sorry, Laurence is considerably harder than Ludwig.

It’s only bad late game when you are using quadra magic, counter magic and master summons; seeing KotR once isn’t bad, seeing it 4 times however is a bit much...

Speeding up gameplay would be nice for when you quadra cast summons and then double mimic... So many hours lost to lengthy summon animations.

This is my next weapon to level up, now that I finally have Beast’s Embrace I look forward to trying an all out beasthood build with either the Whirligig or Rakuyo; leaning on Whirligig for that S rank strength scaling. If it works as well as you say I might finally be able to shelf LHB for a while...

I mentioned the same thing above, Cannon/Evelyn yield similar results to the Bowblade. In fact the bowblade is basically a primary version of Evelyn where you trade BMD for charged attacks and can get back stabs from a distance.

Ebrietas has always been weak to projectiles though, you can kill her in a new game with high bloodtinge and a +10 Cannon/Evelyn just as easily. She doesn’t move around enough to make her head hard to hit, she takes massive bonus damage, and she doesn’t have a lot of attacks that close the gap between her and you to

I feel like this isn’t a super accurate representation of the bowblade; Ebrietas receives bonus damage to her head, a high bloodtinge build would yield the same results (or better) with Cannon/Evelyn and bone marrow dust.

A lot of people’s first thought is probably that this seems pretty stupid, but for anyone who has been staring at a dozen or more betas in their game library that aren’t even playable any more this is a god send...

This is the difference between developing for one platform and working with their In house studio in to polish and optimize a game and developing for multiple platforms with a third party publisher.

It’s foolish comments like this that give merit to Lucas saying that “by its very nature there cannot be a plot in a game.”

The sad thing is that I would go so far as to argue that Fallout 4 is just barely a good game. Beyond being a sad turn for the series with it’s strictly linear story, lack of consequential decisions, immortal NPCs, and refusal to let you do what you want when you want; it’s also a mess of bugs and glitches, frame-rate
