I actually didn’t even think about the fact that this probably won’t have voice chat and therefore will probably be a massive pain to play with random people, which in turn means there will probably be no matchmaking either... A lot of people will be playing solo I guess.

All I can say is I really hope they have their netcode together if a player dropping is going to immediately give you a game over... With as many times as I have seen players lag out of SMB matches on the 3DS I can see this being a bit of a problem.

Yeah, I remember the whole sit down and scope people out from around corners in 3rd person tricks when the game first came out; of course it's not really an advantage if everyone can do it.

I agree that it would possibly attract new people, but just from using the Hunter arc blade super I can already tell you that the third person controls would be incredibly wonky...

I will assume that you have to head back to your ship because the new location doesn’t have an uplink, or probably more accurately it hasn’t been activated yet as of the first mission.

It’s not a sequel or a re-release of an already existing game, which makes it new IP regardless of how long it has been in development or when it was announced; intellectual properties aren’t only new in the moment they are announced, they are essentially new until they’ve been released and we have experienced them.

It’s a spiritual successor though not a sequel; saying that it isn’t a new IP is like saying Bioshock wasn’t a new IP and it is simply part of the System Shock series, or that Dark Souls wasn’t a new IP but rather just an extension of Demon’s Souls.

It’s because I want new experiences instead of the same recycled content that I have been playing for years...

Bullsh*t.

That might have been true two years ago, but not so much any more; Square Enix manage to post profits last year and has been doing quite well as of late.

MS: Recore, Ashen, Ion, Tacoma, Sea of Theives

I honestly was most excited about new IPs like Recore, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Dreams, and No Man’s Sky, etc...

It’s also apparently not what Nintendo does either... Their first party support this year has been abysmal for the Wii U, after last year being relatively strong this should have been their chance to continue growing the struggling console’s catalog; instead we are seeing a few polarising releases and a bunch of

Typically I am the first to knock mobile games, but I have to admit Hitman: Go was one hell of a good game regardless of it being mobile so I look forward to giving this a try.

I thought $150 was reasonable until I realized that it won’t have the charge pack or wireless dongle for pc meaning it will really cost $200+ which seems like a bit much.

The worst part is that the dongle won’t ship at the same time as the controller so if you plan on using this with a living room pc at launch here's hoping you get a long cord...

I honestly don’t see how playing old 360 games on my XB1 when I have a 360 sitting right next to it is a big advancement though... What I wanted from Microsoft was something new and exciting this year and for the most part they handed out recycled games and shiny new sequels with the same old gameplay. At this point I

Ultimately the problem with early access is that these games will never be finished since developers are moving on to new projects before their last project is completed; in theory it's a great idea while in practice it doesn't actually work. We aren't helping developers finish their dreams we are letting them get

So Microsoft has timed exclusivity with CoD for years and it’s business as usual and then it moves to Sony and suddenly its a bad thing...

I fully expect an extended cut of this trailer, it is Kojima after all and he has to keep us waiting for the best part...
