I always thought they would go the Mystique root and reimagine/modernize the character a bit. My take was a bit drastic, but I pitched to some friends her being bald and having psychic tendrils that resembled hair (think Elfend Lied)

IMO it needs to continue as a comic. The stylistic editing would still work (it might even work better on page) and it would solve the problems of shooting in 8 different countries. If only it had the fanbase to garner something like that.

In the first few episodes, the humble street urchin who politely turned down shoes was perhaps my favorite character in the MCU. Then he started driving around in sports cars and Fortune 100 suits. I have no idea what happened.

The monk’s introduction scene was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, but it made his other fights fall incredibly flat. Then his final act was dodging lasers no better than C3Po and R2D2, only to then die after pushing a button.

I read Season 3 was postponed so long because they needed for it to live up to the hype. I’d say this episode did that, and it would be pretty backwards to blowoff all that downtime on a fake episode.

Faceoff has shown plenty of complete makeups capable of incredible emotional expressions. Either by using a better material or just keeping the important features more minimal.

I was suprised how much frontline action Alfred got while Com. Gordon had 1.5 minutes of screentime.
