M. Raimi.
M. Raimi.
I really like the aesthetic. It makes me wonder if someone were to really lean into that and basically use high-definition graphics to make a game look like stop-motion animation.
Totally happy I have a disc based, though only have a single “PS5” disc. The upgrades of PS4 discs are lost on a discless console. I love physical media; it’s easy to share with friends.
Sad that Trigun bombed it’s first run in Japan. It hit perfectly for me; I love the whole aesthetic and the storyline is wonderful. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of media ever.
Whilst not the exact same aesthetic, it’s giving me vibes of my favorite anime, Trigun. The whole “future cowboy” action is around in Cowboy Bebop too, and a neat variation on normal tropes (I actually enjoyed Cowboys vs. Aliens for exactly what it was).
Not sure how horrid these people are.
I need scissors......61.....
I do get that, that’s the “workaround” I was talking about before. But, like I said, situationally.
My beef with digital (other than the whole “liking tangible things” part) is despite people calling digital “value”, it’s not always the case.
My first thought with the gif there is that it could be built off that Final Fantasy XV Platinum demo. You know the one. Where suddenly you transform from prepubescent FF hero into a pickup truck for no real reason.
Idris Elba popping up in everything is the meta “& Knuckles” we need.
This is different advice, but I hope I’m wrong here:
For some reason I just imagined a crossover event where Capcom makes a Mega Man game, but the robot bosses are robot variants based on all of Capcom’s other IPs, and unique weapons that do the old “this one beats that one” routine. But this turns into theme levels based on the other IPs.
Seriously baffled me back in the day and taught me a lesson many people online haven’t yet: never put yourself in any position or situation where it looks against the morals you are trying to uphold.
Exactly the thought going through my head back in 1996.
At my high school, when we were learning about WWII, the teacher brought in memorabilia he had. A huge Nazi flag.
And it coulda worked! The off screen second screen, the insane focus on asymmetric gameplay, why did we NOT get Pac-Man VS on the Wii U?
Pac-Man Vs. is an insanely addictive thing, and I have many memories of having to pause to untangle the controllers due to the juggling. I was SO HAPPY that it came out for Switch. It’s a bit of a bear to set up (have to do the controllers “just so”, make sure the link is good to the other Switch, and who knows which…
You’re just trying to ride the popularity wave from Steamed Hams, let’s face it.
So instead of yelling “BANZAI!!” we’d be yelling “BONSAI!!!”
