Exactly our theory. When his in-game antics effected our other son (i.e. “Locking” his character in a room) we cut it off. But he was so creative, and I long for something that can scratch that itch. There’s a new rollercoaster game that just came out I think would be great for him, but our PC is below specs. We’ve

I regularly played alongside him with Minecraft. When it got to the two of them playing was when it was hard. We would be in the room supervising. There are times as a parent where, no matter what, it can descend into chaos. Minecraft was it for us. They are excellent brothers and play well together. I’m not sure

So with this game, will we see zombies/witchcraft? Is there a “freemake” mode? TNT? Multiplayer at all? These little things will make a difference on whether this is a good buy for us.

I need some questions answered about this on a personal, “my own child” level. We actually had to take Minecraft away from him. It was sad.

It can be really memorable if you gift a digital game the right way. Once, I gave the Red Dead season pass. I bought it from GameStop (you could just as easily buy a card and do the same). Buy a used, insanely cheap game, or if you are in good with them, ask for a box for the system in question.

You know, those windmills....they might be giants.

I had Amazon credit, so I ordered there, but I just want A King’s Tale. So long as that comes out (either on Season Pass or via regular DLC methods), I don’t care. If I hadn’t had the credit I would have just preordered at GS. Everything else is either cosmetic or in-game earnable it seems.

My frustration with these “half step” game consoles is the marketing.

Every time someone brings this up it reminds me why I don’t delete Simpsons Arcade, X Men, TMNT, and Scott Pilgrim from my Xbox 360. :)

Definitely getting one. Just questions:

I preordered a PS2. We went early, thought it’d be fun to be part of a preorder line. Then we found out they only got 3 memory cards, and 3 not enough consoles. They decided to sell the memory cards to the people who didn’t get systems, which wasn’t much of a benefit to them, and annoyed those of us who got systems,

We use GTA Online solo, if that makes much sense. My wife likes to cruise around the place with no rules/worries. She likes the Cunning Stunts expansion, which is online only, so we make a “private session of one” and let her drive. My online status circles around me, her, and one other college buddy. I think I played

Don’t they average each other out? Short cord=you are close to the machine for the other button. I think it’s aesthetics for the OG controller, plus the button would mess up the adapting to a Wii/WiiU. A decent sized HDMI cable in-box would fix both problems.

I can’t say which is better, but my favorite anime/manga combo is Trigun. My understanding is it was a manga, got popular, started an anime, but then they needed an ending before Nightow was ready, so he made one, then went his own way to finish the book. With the first five episodes not even canon, it’s almost like

So, in the email a couple days ago I got a coupon from GameStop for $50 off of an X1---if that counts.......

A friend of mine died too soon as a freshman in high school. Big magic gamer. I don’t remember the specific card, but once I went to his grave and there was a “return target creature from graveyard to hand” card left there. It really was quite an emotional gesture.

I wish Apollo Justice would hit the virtual store as well. I mean, you can play it on your 3DS with the cartridge, but when the first three got HD-ified, and the others are over there already, it just seems silly to have to hunt out a cart for an integral part of the story. We don’t have the one set in the past, nor

Sadly, my kids really found a love for this game right before they cancelled it. But, on a positive note, they’ve never done any online content. They just love building racetracks and having fund as Phineas and Agent P, or Sulley and Mr. Incredible.

The one thing I’m upset about: the last chronological game, Unwound Future (second trilogy is a prequel) ends with Layton letting go of a love of his life. It’s a heartbreaking scene. That these games are popping out involving his grown children without any solution upsets me. Heck, I was upset back then when I never
