There’s equal real evidence for either interpretation. If pressed, I’d say both are total horseshit.

It’s looking like this ain’t our year...
Without getting into policies or performance, I want political leaders that are smart and speak well and don’t make up random crap when they speak.
How about Option C: The president is an idiot who just says stuff without worrying about any basis in reality.
Can you highlight the misinformation you’re referring to? Specifically.
RTFA you fucking moron.
EPA regulations apply even to show cars and off-road use.
Strawman is strawman...
You’re the kind of idiot with kindergarten-level reading comprehension skills that flunks the verbal section of the SAT.
I really didn't read the article that way. Seems to pretty explicitly address bad actors, not say "ALL DIESEL BAD".
I don’t think the article, or anyone is saying all people driving diesels are diesel dorks, just these guys, and others that do similar things.
First of all, “rolling coal” isn’t why they got in trouble. This isn’t a thing the vast majority of diesel owners do. This is just a silly thing a small niche of people do because they are obnoxious.
We found the diesel douche
it sounds like you’re taking “rolling coal” to just mean driving a diesel truck? I don’t think that’s what most people, and the author, mean by rolling coal. Specifically, they’re talking modding the truck and dumping stupid fuel-rich ratios to throw up black clouds on roadgoing trucks
They were deleting diesel particulate filters and egrs, and DOCs.
Meanwhile in Hong Kong, there’s a blogger posting about this amazing backyard full of cool rusted out 4x4s that he discovered in his January trip to Michigan.
To be fair, it is David Tracy we’re talking about here. I was half expecting the place to be full of rusted out 4x4s.
