They were just telling a dad joke, they read the article.

It would be better for the consumer but never happening. Let the dealers keep the monopoly on brands they already sell and let new car makers sell directly. This MIGHT pass as a law, but opening up direct sales altogether probably never will.

I have one complaint: I can’t afford this car and might have to wait like 7 years to get one.

The Taycan looks way better than both.

It’s a dumb thing only people in internet comments have been complaining about honestly. But if it makes you happy, they are building the 86 going forward.

Toyota is ran by someone who, despite knowing they’d lose money on it, still insisted they bring back sports cars. Idk how much more of a car guy he could be, other than working on his own car himself.

Exactly why that stock scares me. It’s price has left reality in the dust.

I know a few who’ve seen it and they all like it in person. Which makes sense, cars look different in person. For example, the 86 looks bigger in pictures to me for some reason. You can’t tell precisely how tiny it is til you see it in person.

That makes no sense at all. Unless you think Toyota made the car to sell well, which definitely isn’t the case.

They don’t. And reading this article would definitely make them go buy the Taycan. Only thing really wrong with the car is that price. Other than that, the repeatable performance is really impressive.

I prefer small sports cars or, if I had to, four door sports cars. This, however, is the only minivan I’d even consider. Something about the styling just works for me.

“Tesla officially sold the car to the dealership on November 15, a date I’ve confirmed by seeing the car’s title. On November 18, Tesla seems to have conducted an “audit” of the car remotely. The result of that audit was that when the car’s software was updated to the latest version in December, the Enhanced Autopilot

Yeah get a load of lotto winner over here. I got a good 5 from my focus and that’s it!

Damn, my Focus did this too!

But the dealer didn’t lie or remove the feature. Tesla did.

Well they aim to disrupt

What a terrible precedent to set though

I imagine the reaction would be different from those same commenters if GM did this

And it’s not the only one.

“Yeah it’s big, stupid-quick, and can tow a house......by the way, it’s electric.”
