I have no idea what huge key fobs you’re dealing with, but the toyota ones fit in skinny jeans pockets.
“Meh to all the hipster wannabees”
“inside my altima”
Same here, I can’t get in the car without my key being on me (only works if my key is within a foot of the car door) and when I try to lock the key in the car, I can’t. And the car beeps at me to let me know something is wrong. I just don’t see the downside.
Almost as if the real problem is sexist women’s clothing just assuming
Forgetting your keys in the car is exactly the same as airplanes crashes and your self driving car slamming into an object, and killing you.
Or not, since it hardly ever happens.
Get a slimmer wallet, I forget mine is back there. And the 86 keyfob is pretty damn small, easily and comfortably staying in the pocket of the majority of people. It’s a nonissue for the masses, which is why keyfobs have caught on.
How hard is it to turn a damn car off? This is a joke, people leaving them on probably shouldn’t be trusted with anything that costs more than $5.
The range on my 86 requires me to be within a foot of the car. Sometimes closer. What the hell kind of vehicle lets you unlock it from a block or two?
Exactly lol
I never take my keys out of my pocket. I’d say that’s a pretty damn good reason.
Lol I have never lost a key to my limited edition FRS. Why? Thanks to keyless entry and push button start, I literally never have to take it out of my pocket. If anything, it’s way easier to lose if you have to take the key out.
“Even with a dead battery, just just bring the fob right next to sensor and it will still send a signal strong enough to start the car
It'd be a death trap
Horrible idea. Can't just put any car in neutral that's damaged. Especially if it catches fire.
Yup, next thing you know someone is watching Harry Potter or taking a nap.
I thought it was just me.
I keep saying this, I hope this catches on.
