I was the same way. Bought a Camry because I felt like I was supposed to. Eventually traded it in for an 86. One test drive and I fell in love. Best purchase I've ever made honestly. If I ever get rid of it for a family car, it'll be a cheap Corolla so I can also get a Miata too.

This! I tried the boring responsible route with my first car so I'm criticizing myself too. I thought buying a Camry was a good idea. Boring as hell and I was rewarded with an oil consuming monster. Traded it in for an 86, and I do not regret it at all. This car is so much damn fun.

Depends on who they partner with. I know everyone keeps whining about them partnering with other companies, but it's either they do that or no sports cars at all.

I basically commented the same thing before seeing your comment. I don't even trust myself with this tech, I know I'd day dream or something since I wouldn't be doing anything.

Hot take: pilots using autopilot rely on it too much and have even been caught napping (both pilot and copilot). Why are we surprised that US drivers who have a low entry requirement are doing the same thing? It was inevitable. When people need to monitor a machine without doing anything, we stop paying attention.

Hmmm, seems like in both cases LIDAR would have prevented that from happening.

Keith Raniere was sleeping with underage girls before NXIVM. He was never good IMO.

Toyota already said they’ll make a third sports car, that will sit between the 86 and Supra. So buy that when it comes out.

My biggest complaint is that people keep buying crossovers. Even in their early 20s. Forget being boring. Buy a sports car and have a little fun. If you have kids, get a four door sports car. Don't wait til you're 70 to realize you missed out and buy a Vette you're afraid to push too hard.

Even if they do, it shouldn't catch fire because it was charged to 97%.

Yes. They swore it was China trying to screw over Tesla. Which really doesn't even make sense.

To say the least

This charger network is an even bigger issue. Those are available to pretty much any car. Making the electric push by major automakers cheaper. VW will pay to build out a ton, but GM, Ford and Toyota can just piggy back off of VW's efforts.

My hot pink Miata does not lower your home's value. HOAs are the worst.

Throw in some 8k and AR for absolutely no reason and I'm in.

I like to think my car isn’t boring. It’s a limited edition scion frs. But it’s also silver, which is kinda dull but I think the frs is a fun car though.

They have to be the neighbor from hell. The HOA member who wants to give you a citation because your door knob is not an approved color. The dog walker who notices your grass is 0.1mm too tall and tells the HOA.

Hold on, did we not just read the same article about cars parked in the driveway? Why are you talking about street parked cars? If I park my hot pink Miata with red seats in my driveway, why would I care what you or the HOA think?

I feel like you're justifying a pedo friendly game.

He's a jags fan, why is he surprised?
