Unions killed Australia car manufacturers, and they are slowly killing Detroit and Canada. They only help union bosses at this point, they severely limit working hours for employees and make it hard to car manufacturers to compete. They have no place in the 21st century.

C’mon. Do you truly believe tests such as these have had no bearing on the astounding safety of cars today compared to yesterday?

When I was writing I was thinking in respect to the evacuation to Britain and the fall of France, not trying to downplay the key roles of other allies in the war. It was meant to be in the context of the film and background; I was too shortsighted on the context of the full war. Hopefully it reads clearer now.
I’m an automotive engineer. Typically, anything in front of the driver is front engine, and anything behind is rear/mid (depends who you talk to). Sometimes there is differentiation between mid/rear, but not often.
