The Tor and Mary Sue reviews (and incidentally me, but who cares) agree with you completely.

Thor, give me patience.

It is, of course, going to be Skye that Ward is in love with, because the writers feel the need to keep establishing increasingly implausible reasons why the audience should be rooting for her, interested in her, or even able to find her tolerable.

Also, Disney, so they'll probably keep anything LGBT to coy mentions

As I watched the episode, I had a moment... a "why amn't I enjoying this?" moment. And then it hit me. Try as I might to enjoy it, it was all photocopies of other stories on recycled paper. Ward being taken, Sif's issues with Lorelei, Lorelei's "Ward loves someone else" reveal to May, everything on the Bus including

I was sitting there going "Shoot her! SHOOT HER NOW." And he didn't.

I genuinely hated this episode. The beautiful women who ensnared men with her womanly feminine girl wiles is just plain irritating as a story line. Apart from how boring and sexist it is, it also immediately ups the stupid level when no one takes reasonable precautions (hey, how about not letting the chick with

Now why didnt Ward just shoot Lorelie when he had the chance? Its not like she cant take a bullet.

Definitely an improved episode, but I don't think they can always rely on Sif and the overt ties to the movies on a week-in, week-out basis, and the other stories they have proved less adept at telling, but like I said, an improvement so they're hope.

Media definitely needs more women friendships or enemyships for other reasons! And/or lesbians.

Awesome episode.

There can never be enough Lady Sif.

I enjoyed the episode though I always find the woman who mind controls men thing tiresome and the "men have a weakness" thing got an eye roll. And I doubt they are going to acknowledge the Lorelei raped Ward.

Funnily enough, Only Lovers Left Alive was actually filmed in Detroit, while no version of RoboCop ever has.

I can't even imagine the chemicals there had to be in this, in order for it to automatically separate into 3 layers after you mixed it up.

They're already on tumblr. Especially the lollipops ones.

Oh, God, yes to all of this. When I finally watched the first movie, I liked most of it...and then there was the fight with the goblins sequence that went on and on and ON. The framerate trick with it made my eyes hurt.

sooooooooo much padding. there are scenes that absolutely fantastic in the hobbit (i can watch the riddle scene over and over)...then there's the rest of the movie(s).

I'm probably in the minority here but I absolutely LOVED the LOTR films and felt they were and continue to be the definitive adaptation of Tolkien's work for all time. I am also a huge fan of the book, The Hobbit and I absolutely despise what Peter Jackson has done with this simple and timeless adventure story. I

There is NO WAY you had more Surge than me. I mourned the loss for far too long.

I have to admit, I loved Surge. And I still miss it. It was so so so yummy! And I still keep cancersicles - pop ice - on hand in case of a sore throat. But funyuns - or whatever, I don't get it. They smell so bad. I can tell if anyone opens a bag or has eaten them. Ugh, can't stand the stench! Capri-Sun - my cousins
