"I've been trapped with men in elevators "

I do wonder if he ever got out of fights in the playground by telling people his mum is the Fendahl Core.

I have spent a few years writing a book. Hopefully I can make a little money from it, but I see putting it under strict copyright as the equivalent of locking it in a glass case in a back room forever. If my creative work is any good, I want people to actively engage with it, and part of that is allowing derivative

The whole "No one should be silenced, not even bigots" argument is such a coward's way out attempt to endorse bigotry without REALLY endorsing it. If you hate gays just man up and say it, don't use this faux-intellectual argument to do so.

Please ask Jezebel to post my follow up piece:

Yeah, hideously irresponsible pretty much covers it. Not to mention "liger" breeds tend to have tons and tons of health problems.

Isn't this hideously irresponsible, considering how few tigers and lions there are, to encourage this sort of thing?

He cheated with Tori. Why wouldn't he cheat on Tori? Is this really a surprise to anyone? He cheated on his previous wife when they were in the middle of adopting a baby and she ended up adopting as a single mom because he refused to go through with the adoption. What a guy. I'd definitely marry and have four children

Or the showrunning abilities of John Nathan-Turner.

Shouldn't have jettisoned the Zero Room.

The Papal Mainframe wouldn't happen to be a computer library of sorts, would it? It certainly sounds like it...

And that's true of the entire special. I kinda love Moffat for it. At least he's taking some risks and having fun.

Everyone keeps saying the Doctor received new regenerations from the Time Lords. Plural. Did anything in the story actually confirmed there are multiple new lives ahead for him? Or was this a stop gap measure until Capaldi's ready to leave, and then we need a new solution?

Okay, so I'm still processing it a bit. Watching something like this after all the food and wine has dulled the senses is tricky. But I think I liked a lot of it. The whole narration thing got on my nerves, but the final scene was quite lovely, especially Smith's bit about how a life is like breath on a mirror. I

Had this exchange on Facebook:

"So! We've finally seen proof of the War on Christmas."

"Who's winning?"

"Yes, of course he is."

You guys are aware that "granting more regenerations" is a thing that has been done before in the Whoniverse, right? That too, to the Master, of all people?

I thought the final moments were amazing, especially the Doctor's quote at the end: "We all change, when you think about it. We're all different people, all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good. You gotta keep moving... so long as you remember all the people who you used to be."

The bowtie...his little bowtie :(
