As Captain Awkward says, you can always write a “feelingsletter” and just not send it. This person needs to address their trauma, not pay it forward. That won’t help anything.

People don’t change. The best we can hope for is that they grow and the exterior changes correspondingly, but they do not change.
I can’t believe this comment section. Everybody here is advocating that an ADULT’s life should be ruined over CHILDHOOD behaviors. This is moronic. The people who TRIED to bully me in school, goo luck to them in the future because I know that not everybody had an amazing home life. I certainly didn’t. To try and ruin…
what the heck. you don’t mess with a person’s career because they were a jerk in HIGH SCHOOL. A) we were all jerks then, and b) almost all of us grew into different people.
It’s easy to gloss over, but “that wasn’t my question” catches my eye. There’s a tiktok by a girl who studied guys on Bumble, and found that 100% of the guys that didn’t answer or changed the subject when she asked “what’s your three favourite movies” ended up being assholes, including guys who sent her unwanted…
Also, what if the need for low/no sugar is FOR HEALTH REASONS. Like diabetics, for example? And labeling gluten free would be beneficial for people who actually suffer celiac disease.
A rich narcissist that’s constantly surrounded by bikini models is ok with being fat. Wow, this is truly revolutionary.
I was thinking about this quote the whole time I read this article. Positivity? This guy? Nope. Bet he fat-shames anyone in his life thats not him, because “he’s a king,” I guess.
i do not celebrate straight men who don’t eat pussy sry
Sure he’s cool with himself having the beer gut and letting it all hang out, lots of guys are.
So, now a company can’t sell a product because it might trigger someone? A grocery store can’t sell meat, because some vegan might be upset? They can’t sell bread because someone who can’t eat gluten might get palpitations? They can’t sell alcohol (in the states that allow it) because a recovering alcoholic might go…
“55 episodes of Friends.”
Some of us just like fro-yo and ice cream!!! It doesn’t have to be one or the other. So what if they advertise one is slightly “healthier”?? At the end of the day they are both a treat and delicious.
Ahhh all of this is making my fucking head hurt. The solution to “diet culture” run amok is to educate people on how to eat in a way that supports and sustains their body, and that includes listing ingredients that some peoples’ bodies can’t tolerate. Part of being in recovery from anything is to learn to manage …
The way I see it from Fat Positive, she’s trying to make her husband love her sister. Which is problematic in itself. You can’t make someone love someone else, especially if they have an ideological difference (or differences). From the tone of the writer, it appears that the husband and the sister have a cordial…
That photo is cringe as fuck for some reason, secondly, just keep your shit off of social media folks. Please. This guy is another one of those “gurus” who is more than likely a major narcissist.
You could argue those health professionals should have left “obesity” out of the discussion. There are many valid points about fatphobia, uselessness of the BMI and the fact that most “skinny” people are actually metabolically unfit. Remove obesity, and you are still left with cancers, strokes, liver disease, PCOS etc.
This. Krispy Kreme should have made it a one time offer, though I don’t see how they could have enforced it.
The problem is Krispy Kreme does not expect you to stop at one free donut. It’s a marketing ploy to lure pandemic customers back. Come for the one free glazed donut, stay for a bunch of sugar jacked pastries, coffee drinks and snacks on display at the counter. The science is very clear that sugar triggers a dopamine…
Thanks for the advice, I really need to find these well-read 25 yr olds haha
