I actually love this thing. Bonkers, capable, DeLoreanesque, and a big FU to Ford and GM.

You know Jason is short, but you never realise how short until you see him in a 2Cv, almost not being able to look out the windshield. Very enjoyable video, anyhow.

Mine is quite mundane. I drive an old a4 with 125 ps. I always lusted after a Volvo V70 with a Diesel engine with at least 200 ps. I finally got to test drive it on the autobahn. Chocolate brown, manual, leather, top of the line.

Affordable for the people living there or paid with taxes is the way to go. Free is a misnomer.

You’re describing the Mongol Rally. Which is awesome. This thing is wildly over-engineered for it, tho. I’d say send David to China, let it drive the thing to Vladivostok, then ship it to Alaska, and drive it down home, where he’ll procede to have its kids and raise them.

That’s the 145.000$ ZXXX69 package

I love the styling. Almost bought one, but the flyweel was making funny jumps. With the larger engine, it was a hoot. 180 km/h on the autobahn were no problem. I still at times regret not buying it :/

Thanks for at least not posting the drawings that gave birth to the expression. This picture is sort of PG13.

Yeah... sorry about that :/

Back in the day, we’d say “I’d dragon that”.

If you lived in Germany, you’d have enough sun to run the car forever. But it would never work in the US .

You forgot the 1871 war, but otherwise, spot on.

jeesis fuck, that thing is awesome!

My aunt bought a Renault 12 new 1979 in Venezuela. She drove it until at least 2006, last time I visited. Lots of fond memories from my childhood in there. Specially she driving the hell out of that car, cigarette in the steering wheel hand and the other one out the window gesticulating to every car, pedestrian and

Why not both?

I’ve been dying to get my hands on a Chevy Caprice Classic. Like the one I grew up with in Venezuela. Completely idiotic idea, living now in the old part of a medieval town in Germany. But a couple of times a year, I can’t help it, and check every Caprice for sale. In Europe. It takes all my strength and some strong

I own a Helix, a very early one. As far as I know, the Chinese got the tooling straight fr Honda, they aren’t knock offs!
