Not sure about that. In it's day, it was crazy innovative. And actually, most of it got carried on to following cars, if not even all of its innovations.

No Citroën Traction Avant?

First mass-produced front wheel drive, monocoque car with hydraulic brakes.

I thought that too.

Sure, I get that. I'd totally get a Hyundai now, but not 20 years ago. Anyhow: I'll still prefer used cars from established makers for the foreseeable future, if money is the issue. And that's all that speaks for buying chinese (as of now). I'm looking forward to the 5-year, 100.000 Km review of the Land Wind, that's

Germany' roads get salted in the winter, yes. But the car was cared for, since it was a test car for a 100.000 Km test in Autobild.

You don't want to.

I have no problem with big. I even like big, if done properly. I even like dramatic! But these are just ugly as sin.

I literally just LOL'd.

Is it a thing, that all Japanese luxury carmakers have but ugly grills? Like a law or something? Infiniti has to up its game if they want to overpuke Acura and now Lexus.

I don't have kids and never owned one, but there seem to be quite a few pros. Thing is, you have to compare them to the old SUVs, not the new ones, which are in principle just normal cars, but AWD and with more ground clearance, and to station wagons of the time, which are the cars they so successfully replaced.

I actually find them very obvious. I live in Germany and I see them every day in Benzes. I cringe every time I do. Like a beautiful girl with a big wart next to her nose. No can do.

The sporty MB models hide it quite well behind the huge-ass star on their grills. But this classic styled ones... fuck.

I've hated this since they appeared. If this is the price to pay, I'll press my own brake pedal, than you very much.

What I've done (now a couple of times) is that I buy an used tire set on original rims. For usual models, you'd find that kind of offer very often in Ebay, from cars that got stopped for parts or crashed, and had kind-of-new tires on them (or a nice winter wheel set lying in the garage).

this looks horrid!

You mean "Glorious Eastern Ukrainian Rebel Forces Not Associated With Mother Russia Come On We've Never Seen That Guy, You See, No Russian Flag In Arm, Ignore Russian Number Plate".

The owners of Brands Hatch Circuit are particularly concerned about this being copied after going viral on Youtube, but the eight month sentence should be enough to keep others who "lack maturity and are easily led" from doing something similar.

oh, shit.

how come?

That's ridiculously smart.

I've seen that ze germans make the ramp longer on the Autobahn than on sideways, and while I've seen some cars that climbed the guardrail, I've yet to see one roll-over. I mean, it all comes down to probabilities: the roll-over probability (<100%) x injury probability / the frontal crash probability (100%) x the
