Colors and Generations were solidly good, I wish this would stop getting posted.

I was being facetious.

But I can't play as a woman. The video game industry's sexist ways are personified in every fiber of this particular game.

See, here's the difference - Saint's Row is stupid and indulges in it's stupidity while making a point to be absurd while GTA is about satirizing and making commentary on the American way of life. With the former, it doesn't matter how you write the character they just need to be a badass. Anyone can be a badass. It

Yeah, I get that. But it's way harder to to write, I think. I mean, you're comparing The Wire to Rockstar. Rockstar does good work but it's nowhere near the level of one of the best written TV shows in history. Anything less than damn-near perfect won't be good enough. Almost no one complains about TLOU and its

Yeah, true - but that's a TV show. Tell me why GTA should have a female lead. "Because I want it" isn't a good enough reason. It needs to facilitate the narrative. I feel Rockstar knows it's going to be hard to pull off and would rather do it right. Jezebel is just being Jezebel and bitching about the non inclusion of

It is sudden, as in the last decade-and-a-half or so. It's been especially strong in the last couple years. That's nothing when compared to literature or film.

Well, what drove me nuts about that is that women are less likely to end up as murderous career criminals. They're less likely to end up homeless or in a position of great power. Men run the gamut so when you have over-the-top rationale behind the gameplay, it's easier to throw a male in and be done with it.

The point

If the market cares enough they won't buy his game, thus validating everyone's sudden obsession with gender roles in games. In other words, no big deal.

18 is 50% more than 12. Which is exactly what I said.

A couple extra? 50% more running at a similar clock speed and another .6 teraflops is the difference between vsync on or off, or entirely different framerates. I guarantee there will be noticeable differences from the minute both consoles share a single multiplatform title.

You sound like a guy who types in memes.

It's not hard to take advantage of better hardware, PC games to it all the time. Better geometry, richer tessellation, denser particle effects. Some devs will take advantage, others wont. You're acting like exclusives don't matter, but they do. Halo, GTA III, Gears of War all mattered. They all played radically

The console tech is nearly the same, it's not apples to oranges. The only difference is the raw processing power (of which the PS4 has a lot more) and RAM configuration.

Except it didn't. The 360 had a better performing GPU on paper, and first party titles that actually push the respective tech are very comparable (Halo 4 vs. Uncharted 3, for instance).

Also, since the GPU and CPU architecture is similar this round, you will see a difference.

I've already got a nice PC. It still won't play Killzone, Naughty Dog games or Halo.

No, not even depending on measures of performance. That bandwidth is for a small portion of RAM, maybe enough for the framebuffer. The GPU is still 50% short on compute units. Neat little tricks with the RAM won't mean shit in the face of raw power. I will likely end up with both systems, especially if Sunset

But the PS4 has the superior tech, like in real mathematical terms. It's a fact. Unless we're talking gimmicky cameras.

Oh no, boobs and the female form. Boo hoo.

You are not entitled to quality. You're entitled to a product that does generally what it says. That's what you got, so stop whining. There's also a difference between "This game sucks" and "I DEMAND A NEW ENDING", the latter of which is exactly the kind of entitlement that is undeserved and makes gamers look like a
