Down in LA, we have an A-12 trainer on static display, called the “Titanium Goose”. Whenever I see it, it takes a long while fro me to get my eyes off it. It’s a beauty of a plane. The best use of titanium if you ask me.

Is there a way for the A-10 to get a VTOL variant where the back engines swivel down and a LiftFan behind the cockpit stabilizes it? That would be bad-ass.
