Good to know. I saw one in person at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, IN (they had one on loan for a while).

So we lose, what, 5 good movies?
I've driven one of these... probably the must unreal automotive experience I've ever had.
No taxiways, to boot! Make a u-turn right at the end of the runway.
This is gizmodo. The writers are high school interns, right?
My phone came with a case... it is metal and gorilla glass and was designed by Jony Ive
Maybe it floats in salt water?
The most effective improvements come at the current bottleneck. For almost everyone, that bottleneck is the actual internet connection. Average around where I live is 1.5-5Mbps. For us, even 802.11b doesn't slow down our internet.
Right on. People are kind of dumb when it comes to networking. They forget all about bottlenecks.
This isn't big, it is tiny. Look at the power switch. Look at the mini (or micro) USB cable jack. This thing is a couple inches wide at most. Probably closer to 1"
The smoke/liquid nitrogen vapor effects seem really hokey in the viral video. That said, there are things that exist that could achieve the type of locomotion seen in the video. Quantum locked levitation would be the best candidate.
If the Ferrari nose cone/steering wheel mashup was designed just right, the flappy front wing could double as the flappy shifting paddles.
AeroPress makes the best coffee I've ever had in a home. It is a close second to the "clover" coffee machines. It is cheap and has the benefits of a french press with few of the drawbacks (you're still basically limited to one cup at a time).
Anton Phillips.
Crazy Ernie takes the cake. SOMEONE GET DOWN THERE AND BUY A CAR WITHIN THE HOUR BEFORE HE CLUBS THAT BABY SEAL!
Stupid tabbed browsing mistake and no way to delete a post or even an embedded video?

It doesn't come down to just one thing. The GT-R driver could have been a better driver or using the GT-R's launch control. The EVO was carrying a passenger... the GT-R was not. The GT-R may have had some super-sticky tires while the EVO was wearing all-seasons (unlikely, but we just don't know).
