I still have a soft spot for old Busch since it’s still the only major league park I’ve been to. By all accounts it was a terrible football/multipurpose stadium but I remember the final baseball-only configuration with real grass was pretty nice.

I’m pretty opened minded about packaging design, but those Barrier cans are. . . something else. I love cans with cool designs, they kinda pop to me more than bottle labels, but I feel like typeface legibility is a must.

I don’t like 16oz beers because they barely fit in my glasses. I think they’re technically 18oz so it’s possible, but I like at least a spare inch so I don’t spill it on the way to the couch.

Yeah, lol, I’ve literally never seen a bar like he’s describing. Maybe not-a-beer-bar bars where the token craft selection is probably an IPA, but every beer bar with 10+ taps, at least 4 of them aren’t gonna be a PA/IPA.

Yeah, everything you hear about sex scenes in movies/TV is that they’re 100% professional and nobody’s getting turned on, but this guy (and probably a lot of other predators) didn’t get the memo.

Unfortunately “the did the best they could with the players still available” doesn’t mean Actually Good In The West. Still better than most of his Cavs teams though.

And Rondo is gonna start ahead of Cook too.

I’m also really bear-ish on the Lakers. “We’ve seen what LeBron can do in the playoffs blah blah blah” but it just feels different this time even if AD is his best teammate since DWade. If one of the big 2 gets injured for a few crucial weeks, they might not even make the playoffs cuz the roster is so bare otherwise.

Minnesota has a lot of salary they want to o move and they're thirsty for a star PG. Idk if he's a plus player on any tram at this point, but I could see them swinging for him anyway.

The really dumb thing is I that I’ve already seen this take but I’ve never even thought about Aerial’s hair before. If you asked me what color her hair was and I wasn’t allowed to google, I would’ve told you it’s brunette.

Nets should make the Coogi jersey full-time.

Yeah I poured hours of my life into SC4 when I was younger, but skylines doesn’t scratch the same itch. Something about the scale of it feels off. The scale of SC4 was already unrealistic, but Skylines feels even more like I’m building a small village with overbuilt infrastructure. Probably just a function of the full

Yeah, it’s funny how close this person is to the truth, they’re just selfish. “I acknowledge that the government subsidizes certain development/commuting patterns, they just aren’t subsidizing the one I prefer as much as they used to.”

I don’t really get the paranoia over voice assistants mostly because Amazon and Google already know so much about me that it’s not like it being verbal instead of typed really makes it worse.

Yeah, for real, I set that shit up to forward to my personal e-mail on day 1 and never touched it. Never had anybody give me trouble cuz I didn’t use my .edu, but it probably helps that my personal address is also just a contraction of my real name and not something juvenile.

Yeah people always talk about the curds but u never get them because just the burger is bad enough for me. I still get fries and root beer so I'm still probably pushing 1500 calories, but the curds would give me even worse post-Culver's shits.

I’ve only been to Jack Stack but it was really nice. Kinda pricey but it was nice after walking around the plaza all afternoon. Was gonna go to Q39 last time I was in town but kinda ran out of time.

I actually recently learned the concept of cycles and that long haul flights don’t really contribute to wear. I also heard that pressurizing and depressurizing is a big contributor to wear.

Yeah it’s weird that everyone is trying to gloss this shit over as a “bad date”. Like he didn’t do anything criminal, and it’s not “as bad as weinstein” or whatever the fuck, but it’s still a really really bad look for him. And to all the “why didn’t she just leave??” people, I mean, she did. Doesn’t make his actions

America’s Protestant Work Ethic is a curse. In my ideal world, maybe we wouldn’t just “give” people money, but maybe everyone could work 15 hours a week at something meaningful and still make a comfortable wage. That’s probably all that’s needed to keep the economy running, really, but sooooo much about the culture
