People who have "bad luck" with vehicles are typically the same people who don't know how to do their own oil changes. Not a coincidence.

You're not advocating for anyone; you're simply justifying their actions.

Lol. I think the fact that Joe 6-pack can finance a $60,000 car on a $35,000 annual salary sort of negates your inequality argument. He didn't say everyone else is a moron, but it is obvious that the majority of the population is trending that way. Instead of getting mad about it, why not toss a few bucks into your

Sometimes it's better to rip the band-aid off and deal with the brief pain.

I don't even take my truck to the dealership; what are the chances I'll send it back to Michigan and trust someone there to actually make it better?

Interestingly enough, these two articles came up next to each other in my news feed. I chose not to open the one about Mars.

You can buy all the snake oil you desire but if you need accuracy, why not go see an actual geneticist?

Why use personal responsibility when I can blame my problems on “uncontrollable” factors? It’s so much easier to eat a gallon of ice cream every day and talk about not having visible abs because of my genetics. I know this from experience because that was my excuse before I spent the time learning how to actually get

That's so cool!

Yep. They were very vague and almost misleading about a lot of details until a few weeks ago when more and more disappointing news emerged. I had to tell my nephew I changed my mind about getting it. He was pissed because he was getting my buddy pass, then Google said the buddy passes weren't going to work at launch.

Where was all this fancy testing when I wasted a year’s worth of savings on a Jaguar CD back in 1994?

Have you ever been to a friend's house when they try to break out something other than Hellman's? That's when I excuse myself for the evening and proceed to block them from ever contacting me again. Even worse if they think I'm going to be okay with the Miracle Whip.

Your view on thread count makes a lot of people a lot of money. There is much more to a fine set of linens than thread count.

Tires for your vehicle should definitely be #1 on this list. It'll become more apparent over the next few months as to why.

I never really thought about it but that really is a great idea. If even something like a four cylinder Camry had the option, I'd happily buy one in classic Camry tan. I'm pretty sure the majority of people in the northern half of the US would also choose this option, and maybe we can finally start seeing fewer SUVs

The ones who put in 20% are the ones who are most vocal about the "merits" of unions.

It would be extremely beneficial, actually.

It’s way too easy for union leadership to convince people of their own necessity. I’m as anti-union as they come but I’ve been considering starting one for the financial boost it would bring me. At this point, I’ve grown to appreciate the skill of manipulation required to convince such a large group of people to hand

How good it *still* looks? Your truck is 4 years old.

Same here with math and physics. I can't help but wonder how different things would be had calculus been taught in my school to everyone instead of just the gifted kids.
