Well your teeth are worse while you're still growing because there's more risk for them to grow wrong and adult teeth are pretty stable, but most likely they wanted your cash, unless all their childhood treatments were super effective...

The trick is not to eat "plenty" of anything so you have a balanced diet. It's more expensive and much more time consuming to cut them entirely, but having whole grains a few times a week isn't life-destroying in the least.

Am I the only one around here who generally avoids using people's names if I don't know them directly? As a kid I always called people's parents " mister or missus lastname", or avoided addressing them directly. With service people, I think sir or miss is sufficient if I absolutely NEED to address them.

I find that making a big deal about it by telling myself that I could forget the moment makes me remember it more...

That's a great idea! Except it's more troublesome when the gift is from a co-worker or something.

Maybe that's the case for you, but it's the kind of thing many of us celebrate with our families and friends (whether we like it or not) and it could be more damaging to not participate in most circumstances.

I generally dislike recieiving gift cards from someone I'm close to because it doesn't show that they put any care or effort into the gift, but getting a message with it or some kind of acknowledgement makes it 100x sweeter.

I don't know about you, but I can get mini Adult toothpaste tubes from my dentist for free...

I usually choose to sacrifice breakfast time for a bit extra sleep, but when I do eat breakfast I find it easier to focus in the morning.

It's because the cookie will cook itself while its still hot. You can underbake, or make the cookies bigger so they're chewiest in the middle
