One of the girls I babysit spent the first three years of her life refusing to wear anything if it wasn't pink. And then she spent the next two strictly wearing only her older brother's Cars and Star Wars pajamas.

I forgot to mention that I did end up getting the vaccine, post-detection, to protect against other strains (as well as being re-infected by someone else). It was mostly covered by my insurance. I heard they might be making it mandatory for young girls here soon (Canada).
