That still doesn't solve the issue of how they became homeless in the first part. Mental health and addiction are a huge part of the homeless problem, and until we take solving those issues seriously, free housing isn't going to solve much.

Except you are not allowed to give the homeless “four walls and heat” Our feckless government continues to larder rules, regulations and gifts to buddies on any public housing so as to make it ridiculously priced. A buddy of mine started an organization, with a bunch of us who cared, to build housing for the homeless.

Imagine caring more about a racist coffee table than people.

A conservative is appropriately defined as a person or institution that wants to maintain that which has worked in the past. Edmund Burke is the philosophical  guiding light to this movement. One need only study why he supported the American Revolution and turned on the French Revolution, and your question is

If suddenly being exposed to new viewpoints causes your kid’s worldview to pull a bootlegger’s reverse, you were controlling the viewpoints they were exposed to in the first place. This is a very common thing to happen in conservative households once the kids go to college.

I can’t really go into detail about the reports I’m getting this information from, or their exact forecasts, but I’m not pulling that call out of my ass. Blame the SEC (I like my job, so I won’t break the rules).

>Too many people, myself included, are yearning for the days of true compact pickups,

I’m not seriously in the market for a Bronco or Wrangler, but I’ve been scared off of Jeep shopping enough times to have some opinions on the Bronco’s advantages:

Still works, just not was well. If 8.5% are positive, 29.9% of 4-pools will be positive, and tests used will be 2.20 per four patients. At 19.5%, 58.0% of 4-pools will be positive, and 3.32 tests will be used—still beating four, just not by much.

I don’t know. I see it more likely that a Walmart manager would take a stand against the county, than they would Big Daddy Corporate

It’s all still crazily tangled up with the prison industry in a lot of areas. There’s a ton of money at stake locking up people for minor drug offenses and of course a powerful lobby in place to ensure continueance of the status quo.

Tesla drivers are largely a self-fellating bunch, so I don’t know how well they’re going to take to a machine doing it for them.

It’s a good example of a front-to-back good design. It looks good all around. The best Continental since the 1960s, IMO.

Seems like a nice column shifter would be a much cleaner approach.

Why not just use a push-button shifter like Lincoln has?

Bad doctors and bad lawyers get their licenses revoked.

Which is probably why that sales model didn’t catch on. Too many people realized once they were off the dealer lot that this new vehicle wasn’t actually life-changing.

One side of the coin is that there is a liquidity problem with too much money trying to find someplace to park.

Am I the only one who thinks Mt. Rushmore is ugly as fuck?

I couldn't possibly agree more with everything you said. Hear, hear!
