Why do you think staying in a VRBO is safer than a hotel? Who knows who was there before you and if it was adequately sanitized? Major hotel brands are seriously upping the sanitation and contactless process. And pretty much all hotels are at 50% capacity. Where masks to / from the room and you should be good.

You do the lord’s work.

I probably won’t get out of the greys for this, but here it goes.

This doesn’t surprise me. Saw an ABC Atlanta news interview with Tom Durden, and it sure as hell looked like he was caught cleaning out his office. No pictures on the wall, things in boxes. It was kinda crazy. On the + side, he did recommend the two previous attorneys to the GBI for investigation. Don’t think it will

Isn’t that astonishing? Why is this so hard for them to grasp?

So no one here is willing to tackle the point he made about a county having differing orders than the state?

If he makes such a move, it would probably be cost positive in 5 years.

It will be cheaper than you think. It’s been a constant trend for medium size businesses and those moving out of the startup and into the long term mode. Why do you think Austin, Nashville, & DC are popular tech hubs? (Atlanta too.)

Was on an interesting call with an international equity company yesterday. They noted that traffic in China’s cities is up 11% year over year as people have shunned mass transit in favor of car commuting.

I think there is a big flaw in this articles logic. You assume an idiot won’t do something idiotic if they weren’t in a big “safe” suv. And I don’t think that is true. I see plenty of people trying to become organ donors on motorcycles or bicycles. Lack of safety isn’t going to stop people from being assholes or

I currently don’t know of ANY commercial or residential tenants that are in discussions of being evicted because of this crisis. Small, medium, or large. And it has nothing to do with their size but the presence of force majeur in their contract.

Why no love for a convertible mustang?

Was it a manual? Man that was my first car. Had many firsts in that car. First love, first road-trip, first camping in a national park, first stereo head unit i swapped, first accident, first tow, first winching, first speeding ticket, first date with my wife.

As someone who regularly closes streets and rights-of-way in several cities and states across the nation it is nowhere that easy as simply making a decision to close streets to cars. Temporary or permanent closures require almost always require legislative action, which can vary by state and locality. Further a person

Technical formatting is indeed different than word choice or composition. 2 spaces is not about content, it is about presentation. Having 2 spaces screws with formatting and standards of communication. It requires alternate programming and can alter HOW content is read.

On the flip side, I’ve been someone who had to fire someone who would not change and insisted on double space. Not fun.

Yes. It causes alot of issues, if your job is working with text in any technical or layout setting. I’ve mentioned it 3 times in these comments already, I had to fire someone who refused to type a single space and thus created hundreds of man hours of work for his fellow employees.

No, I’m just going to give you the thousands of man hours of work it takes others to correct for this ‘artificial’ issue you create. Simply because you “feel” like this is so important to you.

It was a byproduct of typewriters. It had a good technical reason for existing, at the time. Now it is a real problem. I’ve had databases and technical papers that need hours of re-layout and editing because people use 2 spaces, and when you go to adjust layouts the computer can’t handle it. We ended up writing a

No. It doesn’t look better. If it did, then when the font designers designed their fonts for computers they would purposely add more space after the “.”. But they didn’t, and it was literally their job to make the letters and punctuation easier to read. Every thing of it that way? Every time you use 2-spaces you are
