That was pretty awesome, but with so many changes why don't they just have two different cars?
RHD allows for easier patrol (easier to read meters and license plates) and safer exiting when writing up parking tickets. A Jeep is used as it one of the few RHD vehicles for sale in the US. All of our traffic enforcement officers use them in SLC when they are not riding their bikes.
There are a handful in the states but for 'Off-road use only', as they are not street legal, just like the series 1 Elise they were based on. You can pick one up from Wire Wheel for just under $70k (they had two just a couple weeks ago): http://wirewheel.com/2000-LOTUS-ELISE-340R-2.html
GM - STOP WITH THE FUCKING CAMARO LIGHTS ON EVERYTHING... sorry for the yelling, but GM is known for being hard of hearing.
Why would you have to run an optical wire? The stick plugs into an HDMI (MHL) outlet. HDMI transfers audio and video over one connector, so as long as your TV is connected to your home receiver, as you would need to be to use an app (which is not a bad idea by the way), you would be good to go.
Just got back from a trip to Portland, and it was the first time I drove while visiting... and my god, between the slow speed limits everywhere in Oregon and the meandering drivers, it made me miss my time driving in NYC. I am happy to learn this little tip for my next visit.
The AIG bail out was structured by the Bush administration in September of 2011, at the beginning of the financial crisis. The auto bailouts get a bit more tricky as they span the change in administration.
Agree an auto option would allow the car to live a longer life... but dont talk sh*t about Reign of Fire
My Sega CD purchase is high on my list of probably shouldn't have bought.
My second car was a Mercury Tracer Trio, similar to the image but black. It was a Ford corp lease car and was a blast to drive when I was 17... nothing is quite as fast or nimble as a corp car. Not quite as nice as the '95 Ford Contour SE that was my first car, but if it was not for the the Tracer I probably would…
Best part of the video was the spoiler raising up.
I agree with Alex. If it wasn't a press trip, then there must be a story behind it: http://jalopnik.com/5922514/bz-electra-king-the-jalopnik-classic-review
Basic, durable, fuel efficient. There in lies the reason they do not exist. Like many things in life, you can have two out of the three, but not all three. For if you were allowed to have all three, manufacturers and dealers would not make money.
sounds like a bunch of wankers
As a former NB'er, I like the NA's and the NC's better in the looks departments. The NB is a good looking car, but did lose a bit of the Miata-ness, went a little too psuedo European... kinda like the BRz/FRS twins.
Because Top Gear UK presenters never say anything inaccurate about cars... they don't even know how a dyno works (see video). It's entertainment with cars, thats all... if you are are expecting more out of either then prepare to be frustrated like I used to be, until I got over it.
