You have some seriously shitty reverse lights then.

Both the Matador and the truck. Beautiful examples of their time.
This truck has an unibrow
I’ll raise you an actual Ford Maverick:
Beat me to it!
I also grew up in PA. There’s a stretch of I-81 in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area that was under construction for decades. I was genuinely shocked a couple of years ago when I was up there and it wasn’t. I’m reasonably certain that I didn’t have my driver’s license yet the last time it wasn’t being “worked on.”
This post paints a really bad picture without full understanding of how IT infrastructure works. When the good folks down in IT see an activity spike and files start becoming encrypted, they shut everything off in order to isolate the threat. It’s kind of like closing fire doors. Unfortunately this sometimes means…
“Maybe one day UNICEF will get into gasoline supply business, but until then, we’re the people to see.”
I grew up in PA. Saw miles and miles of construction zones. never saw anyone actually working in one. The above and below freeing daily winter cycle is hard on roads.
Anything religious or political. But special mention for this:
There was a car with a lot of stickers on the back. One was giant and said “DISOBEY!”
Not a “never seen,” as these were ubiquitous in my childhood, but I can’t remember the last time I saw a second gen Ford Taurus (92-95). This was the best-selling car in America during its run, with like 1.4M units sold in the US. I still see plenty of cars from the 90s on the road today, so I’m shocked I haven’t seen…
Did someone say clownshoe???
Why pay extra when you can get the genuine shitbox experience for $3000 (plus tens of thousands in running costs) from an ill advised used Defender on your local Craigslist?
Lol, nothing like the difference between the “good” and “excellent” prices being that a “good” car doesn’t actually work while and “excellent” car could look like trash but in reality still function.
For the insurance you might ask them about an agreed value plan. I have a 67 Dart that I modified with a 5.7 Hemi and T56 and some other modernizations and talked it over with them and agreed on a value of the car for the policy. It can help to have receipts and other information documenting the cost of parts as well.
Hydrogen can work great and be extremely green. You just have to be a bit blue about how to make it.
My mother taught me to drive.
Don’t worry, my old man’s a TV repairman. He has the ultimate set of tools.
Back in the day a friend received a ton of high-end Nokias (6000-series) through his CEO dad when the company was switching to something newer. They were mostly 1-2 years old and their batteries would last “forever”.
