Never Portray Black Love: Never Ever Ever Ever let black people be shown loving each other. Treat’em like livestock.

I was reluctant to read this article for fear it would be triggering.

Apparently things have changed since I was in school (admittedly a very long time ago). Back then, once the parent came on the scene, the school pretty much left the discipline to the parent. It was a given that the ultimate authority over a child was the parent. 

I choose not to watch these videos anymore (for the sake of my mental health), but from what I’m reading, it sounds like they should be fired and face charges.

So... If she was resisting arrest, shouldn’t there be another charge? The charge she resisted being arrested for (alledgedlly)?

Yeah it’s something, but frankly, I feel like it’s almost worse than having said nothing at all. By not mentioning Omar at all, she seems to be purposely distancing herself. Which almost comes across as though she’s somewhat in agreement with him. Or at the very least is afraid to stand up to him and his minions.

Not to mention complain about government resources being used to help support, shelter, feed, and educate children.

Some people are so dumb. 

And honestly, I think all this “outrage” is just that: trolling. I don’t think they’re even actually mad. I believe they are well aware of their hypocrisy and welcome the chance to rub our faces in it. 

This is heartbreaking. 

Exactly. I mean, couldn’t someone have beat on the trunk of the car to wake him up?? This absolutely NEVER would have happened to a white person. They would have just tapped on the window to wake him up.

I’ve always felt the whole thing was blown out of proportion.

I wonder if the requisite "I felt threatened" will work with this.

The impact on the mental health of Black Americans is real. I have been on this Earth several decades and I’ve never been so afraid of possible interactions with the police.
