I don’t think there would be a problem with police in the schools if they were there to actually protect and serve.

The system is designed to keep us down. 

If a Black woman had bitten a cop, she would have been beaten like a dog and charged with every crime they could think of and make up.

Me neither. I think it makes it worse.

I really didn't want to lol at this, but...

Unbelievable. I just read a piece the other day where the writer made the point that the NFL doesn’t care about domestic violence unless there is video and that video becomes public. I’m blown away by how this situation so accurately proves that point.

I hope Mike Espy wins. But I know he won’t. The last two years have taught us there are more racists than we wanted to believe.Sure, some won’t vote for him because idealogical differences. But there will be those who won’t vote for him simply because he is Black.

This is probably irrelevant, but are the police “trained” (using the word loosely) to shoot people in the face?

I find it very offputting for her to talk about sbeing (or not) “enough color”. POC would have been a better term. Diversity would have been even better. People are more than just a skin color.

I feel compelled to point out that some women in the music/entertainment industry contribute to the objectification.
