I happen to need more than 500hp. Sorry to wreck the curve for everyone.
“I just bought America’s cheapest turbine-powered car!” This is the perfect opportunity for the next great YouTube car influencer. NP
I think that at least a third of the authors at Jalopnik are delusional morons including Collin. There are still articles that provide useful information and entertainment. It would be great if an automotive website could keep politics down to a minimum.
I heard this exact rhetoric when I worked in a union. But it was them telling us we need to vote for Obama.
Bought my son a 20 year old Nissan Frontier. Perfect for a new driver. Even has 3 pedals. Sure you can text and drive with a stick, but it’s a lot harder.
I’m not buying my new teenage driver a $12-$15k car. He got a $5k CRV. If I am an adult looking for a first time new car, this would be ok.
I have a 2018 GT hatch with manual I bought new. Other than rear camera glitches (which apparently is going through recall process for wiring), it has been so reliable and so fun to drive. IMO the relatively light weight is more important than horsepower. It feels like the antithesis of today’s heavy, high-hp, numb…
I bought my 2017 GT hatchback in 2020 before the used market went batshit crazy. It’s a terrific value for what you get, though I do wish you could get the GT with the 2.0 engine for better fuel economy. I get around 31 in the summer and 26 in the winter in mixed city/highway driving. On longer highway trips it will…
I like the Ionoq 5.
Sport-trac?
I’m going weed. They went out to the car to smoke so whoever else was in the house wouldn’t know.
Gen Xer and I daily either a Wrangler or an S2000. Wrangler is automatic, partly because the S2000 has spoiled me. The few other manuals I’ve drive felt terrible compared to it. It’s just such a smooth experience.
As someone in their mid 50s, who has replaced autos with 5 speed Getrags in V12 Jags, twice.. This is a ridiculous comment. Pack it in with the dumb generalisations.
Yeah, but it’s FWD. Had a FWD once. They steer “funny”.
I’m 21 years old and bought a brand new 2023 Mustang GT in January. Grabber Blue, 6 speed. Sure, I could have gotten a performance pack premium used with all the bells and whistles, but it was too important to me to buy new. If I’m in a position to help save the manuals, but don’t do so, then I cannot complain about…
