Holy shit... it was almost a good article. I agree with Jamie on all the critical points, but the political bias and name calling was exhausting... this coming from someone who is independent. Sadly, this is the world of journalism / blogging that we live in (But it doesn’t have to be this way).

10/10 for content

1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. I worked for my uncle in a small town in NW Missouri. The car was parked 2 blocks from his company and I saw it every day for 4 years sitting in a field. I needed about 6 more months to save up enough money to buy it but one day it was gone :’(

Their cheap bikes were utter garbage.

Actually a dachshund - pit mix. Made rounds on the internet a few years ago when they we’re trying to find someone to adopt the dog. I thought it was photoshopped until I saw the video. Good news is that the dog found a forever home :)

Man that makes me miss my ‘03 330ci 5spd. Turns my head every time I see an e46 on the road.

I was 9 when this car set the Guinness World Record for fastest production car. Since then I’ve followed every article and video of the McLaren F1 and Gordon Murray.

This deserves all the stars.

I’ve now owned 5 of these trucks (89, 90, 93, 95, 97). A few take-aways:

1) I owned a Duc 748. Not exactly something you should be bragging about. Horribly uncomfortable. Not reliable. Not very fast by sport bike standards.

Exactly. Bradley should be confined to writing about e-scooters. This used to be an enthusiasts site where automotive advancements were celebrated and the peanut gallery could critique the flaws and wish for brown station wagons.

As a father of two young boys, I hope my sons will look back some day and be able to say words like this about me.

Does British muscle car count? Jaguar F-Type R has a 542-hp supercharged 5.0-liter V8 and is offered with AWD.

I have followed Gordon Murray since the learned of the F1 in 1994 when I was 9 years old. I’ve watched every video of him and the F1 that I’ve been able to find. This interview was great because 1) you did your homework beforehand, and 2) asked questions that no one else had.

You’re not alone. I have one of the high-end McLaren F1 models in my room/office right now... I love everything about that car and have spent waaay too much time learning about every aspect of it and Gordon over the last 25 years.

As the owner of multiple F4i and multiple 600rr... the 600rr is better in almost every way... except for passengers :)

I also had a Ducati 748... beautiful bike and handled fantastic. But that’s there the fun stops. Everything else about that bike sucks.

Not CP but not a good price. You have to really like Buell and v-twin motors to live with a bike like this. It is clean and low miles so it will sell... but they are not comfortable, not fast (by motorcycle standards), and there are much better bikes in this price range.

As cool as this is for billionaires... as a Poor, I’m just hoping for trickle-down economies - i.e. 2030 Lotus Exige with these specs for under $80k.

A man can dream right?

This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard in a long time. Adding weight to the high-point of a motorcycle is the absolute worst for turning and handling. There are literally dozens of better methods to accomplish what they are tying to do without adding weights, gears, motor on the TOP REAR of a bike.

- Mechanical Engineer,

I’m not sure working from home will actually suppress demand, well because, America = I want it now!

On a related note, I’m working from home, tired of my current vehicle so it’s for sale...  been looking at buying a used AMG (yes, I’m a glutton for punishment)
