Mazda estimates the -X will “generate 186-202 hp, 180-195 lb-ft of torque, and 44-48 highway mpg.” That seems pretty good compared to the Honda.

I daily an e46 (330ci) with a manual... puts a smile on my face every time I drive.
I’m only 5'-10" and my head was smashed against the roof while in the back of a newish CLA during an Uber ride. This new model looks to have even more slope to its roof-line... so it will likely only be comfortable for 2 kids under the age of ±12.
So, what up with the suspension...?
Works on my ‘93 chevy truck. Damn starter solenoid likes to get tapped before she gives it up.
This is also available:
“Crossover” ...right. From the same country that gives us 4 door coupes.
A better nod to the E46 would’ve been to make it look good. As a current E46 owner, clean lines don’t go out of style. These new BMWs however will be just another overly complicated german throw-away car in 10+ years.
Does 7.4 liters count?
Except when you accidentally put your 911 into 2nd rather than 4th and over-rev... loose 30% resale value, do not pass go.
I currently own an E46 330ci manual... with a 2nd kid on the way. I’m going to have a really hard time convincing the wife it can baby 2 two kids in the back seat :/
My good friend has been into ‘90s BMWs for 10 years now. He’s had 3's, 5's, 7's and exactly one 850ci. He is good enough to keep everything else on the road... not the 850. Let this be your warning.
