Perhaps because IT ISN'T AN ALARM APP?

This thread, and me looking at my collection of wires behind my PC and HTPC, gives me an idea for a contest here on Lifehacker. How about we have a contest for who has the most ridiculous glob of wires behind their PC desk or HTPC?

Keeps your taskbar uncluttered?

My point earlier. Also, it seems the internet lawyers here don't know the difference between criminal and civil law.

"illegal" has ZERO to do with civil issues. Anybody can sue anyone for anything in the United States. Does not matter whether it is illegal or not.

So it's a race thing with you? Whatta fucking dick.

Just though of this and I'll use it for this purpose now... carry it around in case you get mugged. Give them the old ipod and the fake wallet and walk away with your real wallet and android to call the cops.

Oh, and since you have not a clue about what your PC is doing or what you are claiming you might want to see a doctor about that nasty paranoia.

LOL

So, exactly HOW did you find out "the software was trying to reach out to servers in China?"

Yep, I remember the first day I ever got on the internet too.

This does not compute.

A buck a cup!?

Don't feel bad, I manually told my Win7 Media Center to not record Fringe last week because the World Series was pre-empting it. This week, Media center continued to not record Fringe by user request.

Defragging has nothing to do with disk space. It will not free up anything.

Grow up Lifehacker.

No. you should delete stuff you don't need.

"I notice 30 GB gains after an optimization"

I haven't defragged in years.

I guess I'm just too old for this stuff.
