Never really understood this logic though. You need to save money on fuel/electricity, yet youre willing to drop high dollar to do so? Why not just spend 10k less by getting a used car (A nice, fun, manual one that isnt a boring vw) and drive to your hearts content. Youd get a better driving experience, more

Ok, that was my impression too.

With the buyback, do you get the whole thing to do with as you please? Like you I have a 2014 TDi. Could I use the difference after paying off my loan however I please? It’s not “we’ll buy it back up to X.”??

did you read the article?

that’s not the first time he’s been wrong...

I think you go that backwards. That huge stash of GBP is worth considerably less now than it was a week or so ago.

It’s noted as “horrific.” Here’s where:

Checking in with a 2014 Passat TDi 6M.

“I could careless about a fix”

Agreed, my mom’s Passat TDI (which is also a ‘13) engine breaks when coming to a stop and I hate it

wtf are you spouting off about?

When so many cars of the exact same brand and model mysteriously attempt to crash into you, it’s no longer strange co-incidence, but clearly shows you are at fault. And I’m guessing you’re a raging racist too.

Sure. Or you could get an M5 or an E63 AMG. I’d take the E63 every time. Sorry.

He won’t buy that third hand 8 year old BMW/Mercedes with the designations he disagrees with, because it would just anger him too much.

You’ve been consuming too much marketing bull shit.

XJ WAGON CONFIRMED.

I am trying to.

In the same boat. Sure it’s boring, but I like it for what I bought it for. Stupid fuel economy, comfort, and size.

I have friends and family members in this camp of “but I love my car!” so.....Take the payout (if it doesnt come with a stipulation that you get some mileage/performance- sucking recall done) and consider it a rebate discount.

My TDi SE Passat comes with 6 speed manual and offers 43-50 mpg.
