Speaking of Murilee and Desert Valley, he wrote up DVAP (with my pics) way back when!

1969 Dodge Polara convertible

1965 Buick Skylark. Sold it and replaced it with a 1984 Chrysler New Yorker (2.6l K-car)

@Alex Devlin: Nobody who knows what a great car the late 60's Belvedere is would ever consider crossbreeding an A-100 like that. Now a 6.4 "392" Hemi would be interesting.

@SpikeJnZ - Porkchop Express: It looks like they are multi-use drones, and can be recovered. I think spending a few bucks on fuel and recovery is worth the training and preparation.

I got one of these very models several years ago (like 14 or 15!) My ex-mother-in-law bought it for me for Christmas after I had circled a bunch of different models in a catalog. I think it was the cheapest one I circled. I still display it with the 1:43 Franklin Mint Cars of the 60s my ex-wife ordered and never

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THe carbed turbo is a vacuum hose spaghetti bowl. In totally stock trim you might get a 14-sec quarter mile. And the "Before Black" crew never get the respect of the GN guys!

@OA 5599: And people drive their tires down to nothing since rain is so unusual. They're plenty sticky when it is 108 degrees, but throw some rain on the oily surface and the yahoos can't figure out why the car won't stop!

I think it stems from the staggering number of transplants. The driving cultures around the country are pretty varied, and Phoenix never had its

All aluminum 1100 cubic inch V8 used in WWII Sherman Tanks. These were gas burners rated at 500 HP and 1050 Ft. Lbs. of torque for military service, but are capable of much much more using mostly stock parts. They feature a 60 degree vee, 5.4 bore x 6.0 stroke, 180 degree factory billet cranks, pent roof combustion

Buick T-Type/Grand National missing? WTF? GM started with the Turbo 3.8 Regal in 78 or 79, and by 1987 they had a HELLUVA car!

Any Mopar hood with a scoop is a win. There is no contest. No other hood compares. Surely, Mike Ditka designed and Chuck Norris built each one of them. A functioning Air Grabber hood could suck up all of the oil in the Gulf and turn it into tire shredding power. A Hemi shaker could eat that Icelandic volcano spew

The sign is cool. The band is sublime.

5:36 - but I would not have lnown Seat if I hadn't seen the Saleen/Seat comment below!
