its especially weird with a car that is only known for being good in its modified form. this thing was slower than SUVs even in the 90s.

That’s my reservation here. This particular 240 is not actually special. This is a run-of-the-mill car, and its uniqueness comes from the fact that its a popular tuner car, and it’s still factory stock (and in excellent shape, because it was never used).
