Not the same... The factory tune isn’t restrictive so they can sell you a “better” version, it’s that way for maximum fuel efficiency, emissions, and reliability.

Teslas battery packs are identical... The 650 and 800 are different motors, not really the same.

Deluxe suit software and video game dlcs require additional development though... Tesla went and created additional software to limit hardware performance, it would be like if an i3 and i7 where identical hardware wise and Intel just set higher software specs on the i7 so they could charge more.

An i3 has two physical cores while the i5 and i7 have 4... Lol, there is obviously a hardware difference between them. Looks like tesla fans are going so far as to make things up to defend them.

I just looked at three different pdfs from Intel and compared hardware specs.... Definitely not the same chips.

Technically yes... But not in the sense that it devalues the car in any way, it keeps damaging uv rays out of the interior which prolongs the life of the leather/plastic/etc. I live in Arizona where you’d be nuts not to run tint on your vehicle.

Before I got bit by the Euro bug I had an RSX type s with bolt ons and tune (stock ride height, wheels and muffler, I’m not a “ricer”) with an 8600 rpm redline, and have driven a few s2ks, I’m not just quoting text.... A 1k rev decrease for a 6% torque increase is a FAIL.
