Two things... First off, if a police officer was going to attempt to purchase a lab with the intent to cook meth for distribution, he would definitely not say he was a cop. Everyone should be hand washing would be a better statement... There’s plenty of manually operated car washes for people who don’t have their own hose. It’s pure laziness to use an automated wash, most of the people using them could benefit from the exercise too, whether they care about swirl marks or not.
