Haha I figured (hoped) that was the case. Although she might have a point, after driving and working on r32s and r33s (friends cars) the “omg it’s a skyline” thing has died, they’re not nearly the gods I thought they were when I was a teen, there’s much better looking/handling cars out there, just not with the whole

I had an 05 v6 6mt coupe... After seeing how tight it was under the hood and thinking “I’m not taking the fucking bumper cover off to change a bulb”, I tried going through the wheel well, viola, took like a minute... The people who write service manuals are idiots, or enjoy torturing people I haven’t decided yet.

Do those “adults” not have their own transportation? It’s a sports car, why make comprises for other people.... Long as the driver seat is comfortable, that’s all that should really matter.

Thing is, nobody makes good everyday tires for 14s anymore (just cheapos and track stuff).... And every old German car needs euro bumpers (diving boards look like shit and weren’t what designer of the car intended for it to look like).

Maybe stop talking to underaged girls?

But did you test drive the competition? Saabs aren’t really the end all for performance.

Millennial here... Don’t like Rutledge (top gear USA host, not funny or entertaining) and the only thing that could get me to watch Nascar is free blowjobs and cocaine.

Didn’t Mythbusters prove awhile back that even smoking while refueling can’t cause a fire? All the hot spots on a vehicle (engine block, headers, catalytic converters, mufflers) not only drive through gas stations all day long (no one shuts their car off, lets it cool and then pushes it into the station), but hover

We do this ALL THE TIME in Arizona... No issues. How about actually trying to explain this one instead of being a smart ass.

What ignition source? Running vehicles drive through gas stations all day long... Yes headers, catalytic converters, and mufflers get extremely hot, but they don’t rapidly cool as soon as the engine is shut off, and are not close to the fuel door. We pump gas with engines running all day in Arizona with no issues.

I understand what didn’t happen... And that’s refueling with the engine running. Combustion happens internally, not externally, on an ICE engine.

“pinhole leak “ of what... Combustion? You’re forgetting that people drive (with engines running over gas puddles and vapors) through gas stations all day long. I fail to see how this would result in a fire.

You wouldn’t even pay 5 grand for a sporty car that comes with a factory warranty? That’s crazy talk.... A gti is a whole lotta car for 5 grand.

This ^^^^

Seeing as the combustion takes place INSIDE of the engine... How would refueling with the engine running cause a fire? Pretty sure that’s a wives tale.

Idk man nailing 3-2-1 heeltoes into redline hearing that blip blip blip of your exhaust as it pops is extremely satisfying...Especially knowing that you’re the one making that glorious sound not a computer, it’s absolutely invigorating.

But snapping rev matched down shifts and lighting fast upshifts is part of the fun! Scooters can be a riot but are they really motorcycle level fun?

As much as I love low displacement, high revving engines let’s not act like American muscle cars sound like trucks... The snap, crackle, pop of a high strung v8 is vastly different compared to the monotone drone of a truck engine with an exhaust, they’re worlds apart.

Some of the best fun and enjoyment I’ve had has been in slow, lightweight cars... It’s not always about horsepower, although nuclear power plant cars have their moments as well (like holy shit I’m already at 140 type moments, lol).

That so called “outdated technology” is fun... And isn’t the whole point of sport cars supposed to be having a good time? Yeah you’re gonna be faster around the track with a modern automatic, but it’s not gonna be nearly as engaging as a manual... The majority of us don’t race for money, we race/drive for fun.
