What ignition source? Running vehicles drive through gas stations all day long... Yes headers, catalytic converters, and mufflers get extremely hot, but they don’t rapidly cool as soon as the engine is shut off, and are not close to the fuel door. We pump gas with engines running all day in Arizona with no issues.

I understand what didn’t happen... And that’s refueling with the engine running. Combustion happens internally, not externally, on an ICE engine.

Seeing as the combustion takes place INSIDE of the engine... How would refueling with the engine running cause a fire? Pretty sure that’s a wives tale.

Idk man nailing 3-2-1 heeltoes into redline hearing that blip blip blip of your exhaust as it pops is extremely satisfying...Especially knowing that you’re the one making that glorious sound not a computer, it’s absolutely invigorating.

But snapping rev matched down shifts and lighting fast upshifts is part of the fun! Scooters can be a riot but are they really motorcycle level fun?

As much as I love low displacement, high revving engines let’s not act like American muscle cars sound like trucks... The snap, crackle, pop of a high strung v8 is vastly different compared to the monotone drone of a truck engine with an exhaust, they’re worlds apart.

Some of the best fun and enjoyment I’ve had has been in slow, lightweight cars... It’s not always about horsepower, although nuclear power plant cars have their moments as well (like holy shit I’m already at 140 type moments, lol).
